Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para purificar el ácido 2-hidroxinaftalín-6-carboxílico, por recristalización, caracterizado porque se recriztaliza el ácido crudo, apartir de eteres alifáticos, lineales o cíclicos, miscibles con agua, polieteres alifáticos o hidroxi-eteres alifáticos de esta clase, o cuando menos a partir de soluciones de tales eteres, de tipo acuosa y cuando menos equivalentes al 10 por ciento de peso.
