Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un cable para comunicaciones, el cual comprende: un núcleo que comprende al menos un medio de transmisión y un material plastico que circunscribe como mínimo al medio de transmisión, el cable se caracteriza porque; el material plástico que circunscribe o cubre el medio de transmisión como mínimo, es una composición que incluye un constituyente seleccionado del grupo que consiste de una poliéterimida, un copolímero de silicona-polimida y composiciones que incluyen una poliéterimida y un copolímero de silicona-poliimida; y además en que el cable incluye un forro que circunscribe al menos un medio de transmisión y que comprende un material halogenado.
