Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una bomba para sangre que comprende una cámara de atrio o auricular delimitada por unas paredes flexibles y que tiene una entrada y una salida; una cámara de ventrículo delimitada por unas paredes flexibles y provista de una entrada y una salida; un pasaje que comunica la salida de la cámara de atrio con la entrada de la cámara de ventrículo; una primera válvula de un paso, situada en el pasaje y adaptada para permitir la circulación de la sangre sólo de la cámara de atrio a la cámara de ventrículo; una segunda válvula de un paso, dispuesta en la salida de la cámara de ventrículo, y adaptada para permitir el paso de la sangre a través de la salida, sólo fuera de la cámara de ventrículo; una cubierta que presenta una primera y una segunda aberturas; un dispositivo que conecta la entrada de la cámara de atrio con la rpimera abertura y la salida de la cámara de ventrículo con la segunda abertura, de modo que las paredes flexibles, que delimitan a las cámaras, se sostienen en forma móvil en la cubierta y un impulsor que sirve para que las paredes de la cámara de ventrículo se muevan periódicamente para que disminuya su volumen y se expulse la sangre de ella; simultáneamente, se mueven las paredes de la cámara de atrio, de modo que su volumen puede aumentar al entrar sangre en la entrada; el impulsor incluye a un anillo impulsor que rodea y se une al pasaje y que tiene una superficie que se acopla con las paredes de la cámara de ventrículo; dicha bomba se caracteriza en que la superficie mencionada se acopla en un área seleccionada, de manera que la presión de la sangre que entra en la cámara del ventrículo, entre las carreras impulsadas del impulsor, controla la salida de la bomba para sangre, mediante el establecimiento de la magnitud de la carrera de retorno del anillo impulsor, en función de una fuerza de presión que actúa sobre el área de acoplamiento del anillo impulsor con las paredes de la cámara de ventrículo.
