Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a mejoras en aparato para la separación de una emulsión de petróleo y agua en circulación, caracterizado en que incluyen; un recipiente horizontal, alargado que tiene un primero y segundo extremos para recibir la circulación de emulsión junto al primer extremo y conducir la emulsión recibida por una sección de separación dispuesta intermedia al primero y segundo extremos, descargar el petróleo y agua seprados, cerca del segundo extremo, el sistema de separación incluye; una sección electrostática para inducir la separación del petróleo y el agua al aplicar una carga electrostática a la emulsión que circula a lo largo del mismo; una sección mecánica dispuesta corriente abajo de la sección electrostática, para inducir más las separación del petróleo y el agua, la sección mecánica incluye, además una pluralidad de placas recolectoras, espaciadas, orientadas paralelas con la circulación de la emulsión; las placas están hechas con un material no conductor de la electricidad para recibir de la emulsión, cuando menos una parte de la carga electrostática aplicada con la sección electrostática de la sección de separación.
