Abstract

The invention relates to the biotechnology, namely, to the processes for obtaining the red alga Porphyridium cruentum biomass and may be used in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.The summary of the invention consists in the fact that the proposed process includes red alga Porphyridium cruentum cultivation during seven days at 25-26°C in the sea water, containing 1,0-1,5 g/l of galactose, by that, the first two days the cultivation is made at the illumination of 2000 cd/m2, and the following days - at 3000 cd/m2.The technical result of the invention consists in the cultivation period reducing and in the intensification of the biosin-these process in the alga cells.
