Abstract

The invention relates to medicine, namely neurology, and is intended for the treatment of cognitive-affective disorders in patients with chronic migraine and asymmetry of lateral cerebral ventricles. The method, according to the invention, consists in that it is carried out the functional cerebral tomography and are identified the cerebral structures that generate oscillations in the range of delta waves. In the event if it is revealed the generation of indicated oscillations in the limbic-diencephalic cerebral and/or brainstem and/or cerebellum region, it is placed an anode in the region located 1 cm distally from the occipital tuber on the midline, and a cathode in the cervical vertebra 7 region, then is conducted a direct current for 25…35 min. In the event if it is revealed the simultaneous generation of mentioned oscillations in the limbic-diencephalic cerebral, parietal, temporal and occipital regions of the cerebral cortex, it is placed an anode in the Fp2 and T6 region, and the cathode in the right mastoid process region, then is conducted a direct current during 25…35 min. In the event if it is revealed the simultaneous generation of mentioned oscillations in the limbic-diencephalic cerebral, parietal, temporal and occipital regions of the cerebral cortex, it is placed the anode in the Cz region and the cathode 2 cm behind the right mastoid process, then is conducted a direct current during 25…35 min. At the same time, the density of the conducted current is equal to 0.01…0.10 mA/cm2.The result is to identify the optimal areas for carrying out the transcranial stimulation depending on the affected cerebral structures.
