Abstract

The invention relates to furniture, in particular to the orthopedic mattresses for beds and may be used for prophylaxis and treatment of vertebral column pathologies. Summary of the invention consists in that the mattress includes a profile element consisting of two layers made of elastic materials and joined between them by gluing, one serving as base (1) of the mattress and the second being working (2). On the functional surface of the latter there are made cross ribs with clearances (5) between them. The ribs are divided into two groups, one of them constituting 2/5 of the mattress length and the second 3/5, respectively, and are made inclined toward the corresponding end of the mattress, between the groups being placed a rib (3) perpendicular to the mattress surface. Additionally on the longitudinal margins of the mattress along its full length it is joined by bonding an edge (4) with longitudinal clearance (7) between it and the cross ribs. Through all mentioned clearances it is installed an elastic hose (6) forming a serpentine along the full length of the mattress, joined by means of a tee-joint (8) with electromagnetic valve (9) with a compressor (10) with pressure sensor (11), and the outlet of the hose is equipped with a cock (13), at the same time the work of the compressor is controlled by a control unit (12) depending on the pressure in the hose. The mattress is covered with a protective casing.
