The invention relates to wind-driven plants, in particular to power plants operated by perpendicular air currents.The power plant operated by perpendicular air currents includes at least one base (5) with controlled selection for air intake (3), at least one curved part (6), directing the air intake and/or air entering through the base (5), at least one or two towers (7), combined with the curved parts (6), as well as at least one AC generator (10), receiving electric energy due to the air current, passing through the said towers (7).
