Abstract

The invention relates to the use of nanotechnology in agriculture, in particular to the treatment of seeds and growing of seedlings.The process for treating melon seeds comprises soaking of seeds before sowing for 2…3 hours in an aqueous colloidal solution of magnetite nanoparticles stabilized with poly-N-vinylpyrrolidone Fe3O4/PVP in the concentration of 20…100 mg/L and with the dimensions of 10…20 nm, the concentration of used poly-N-vinylpyrrolidone being of 0.005…0.01 mol/L.
