Abstract

The invention relates to a method for treating turbid water by coagulation flocculation using a product extracted from the cactus racket, comprising the following steps: - the cactus racket is pretreated and then a biofluoculant is extracted from said snowshoeing - samples of water of high turbidity are taken or prepared and two treatments are carried out, the first one adding lime as coagulant followed by our extract as flocculant. After the end of flocculation, the solution is allowed to decant and a clear water and a mud containing biodegradable natural products are recovered.
