Abstract

The invention relates to gas filters, more specifically to filters for filtering fire extinguishing gas generated in gas generation devices and for heat absorbing during filtering. The proposed gas filter comprises at least the following layers: an inner steel layer facing the burning environment, an outer steel layer facing the chemical reaction environment of gas generating grains and at least three intermediate layers, each comprising a layer of steel wool and high silica glass fiber mat.
