Abstract

An invention refers to the transport facilities, particularly to the electronic technique for measurement of the instantaneous speed and sound warning of the driver that the dangerous speed limit is being exceeded by vehicle. The purpose of an invention is the safety increase and rise of vehicle control convenience. The offered warning device shown on fig.1 contains four main units: a signal transducer unit A1 containing signal sensor (5); an electronic measurement control unit A2 ; an unit A3 predicted for indication, warning by twinkling lights, tuning and control; a sound alarm unit A4 containing sound dynamic (4). The offered warning device is characterised in that the signal transducer unit A1 located in speedometer (7) of the vehicle, as well as the power source and unit A3, containing key board (1) with digital and command buttons, digital indicator (display) (2) and light indicator (3) by their terminals are connected to the input of an electronic measurement control unit A2, which contains built-in input-output ports, as well as an active memory device (6) and energy independent memory, the output of unit A2 being connected with the input of audible alarm unit A4 and with the input of unit A3 predicted for an indication, warning by twinkling lights, tuning and control. The offered method warning the driver that the predetermined safety speed limit is being exceeded by the vehicle is characterised in that the signal, received from speedometer by help of sensor (5) installed in the signal transducer unit A1, is transferred to the electronic measurement control unit A2 where it is transformed into digital code. The electronic measurement control unit A2 further calculates the current value of the vehicle instantaneos speed and compares it with the given speed limit which is kept in the energy independent memory. When the safety speed limit is achieved by vehicle, the electronic measurement control unit A2 transmits a signal to the audible alarm unit A4 to sound the alarm warning the driver that the predetermined safety speed limit is exceeded by the vehicle.
