Description
TECHNIKOS SRITISTECHNICAL FIELD
Išradimas skirtas vandenilio išskyrimo iš vandens būdui, konkrečiau - vandens skaldymui į jį sudarančius atomus, naudojant plazminės joninės implantacijos procesą.The present invention relates to a method for separating hydrogen from water, more particularly to break water into its atoms using a plasma ion implantation process.
TECHNIKOS LYGISTECHNICAL LEVEL
The aim of the hydrogen economy is to eliminate polluting fossil fuels and mitigate the impact of accelerated biosphere change, as well as to reduce economic and political dependence on energy-rich nations, thereby balancing geopolitical inequalities in certain regions. Hydrogen gas is used for energy storage and transfer. But hydrogen, the most common element found on the planet, is always found in nature in chemical compounds. Therefore, the availability of free hydrogen is a scientific and technical issue.
Today, hydrogen is usually extracted chemically from compounds that form fossil fuels - coal and oil - which release pollutants into the environment. Obtaining hydrogen from water solves resource and ecological problems.
Dabartiniu metu vandenilis iš vandens gaunamas šiais pagrindiniais būdais:Currently, hydrogen is extracted from water in the following main ways:
(i) vandens elektrolizės būdu, kai elektros srovė leidžiama per vandenį, kuris skaidosi į deguonies ir vandenilio atomus. Įskaičiuojant energiją sunaudojamą elektros gamybai vandenilio gavybos iš vandens elektrolizės būdu, efektyvumas siekia apie 25-45%;(i) electrolysis of water by the passage of water through water which decomposes into oxygen and hydrogen atoms. Including the energy used to produce electricity by hydrolysis of hydrogen from water, the efficiency is about 25-45%;
(ii) termocheminiai vandenilio iš vandens gavybos būdai, tokie kaip sieros ir jodo ciklas, kurių metu vandens molekules disocijuoja į vandenilį ir deguonį, nenaudojant elektros energijos. Termocheminiai procesai yra aukštatemperatūriniai (apie 1000 K), jų efektyvumas siekia 38-40%. Šiuo metu termocheminiai būdai yra laboratorinių bandymų stadijoje;(ii) thermochemical techniques for the production of hydrogen from water, such as the sulfur-iodine cycle, in which water molecules are dissociated into hydrogen and oxygen without the use of electricity. The thermochemical processes are high temperature (about 1000 K) and their efficiency reaches 38-40%. Currently, thermochemical techniques are in the laboratory testing stage;
(iii) radiaciniai vandenilio iš vandens gavybos būdai (radiolizė), kurių metu vanduo yra švitinamas α, β ir γ dalelėmis, kurios skaldo vandens molekules vandenyje ir išskiria vandenilį. Dėl greitos vandenilio atomų rekombinacijos vandenyje šių procesų efektyvumas tesiekia tik kelis procentus;(iii) Radiation techniques for the extraction of hydrogen from water (radiolysis) in which the water is irradiated with α, β and γ particles which break down water molecules in the water and release hydrogen. Due to the rapid recombination of hydrogen atoms in water, the efficiency of these processes is only a few percent;
(iv) biologiniai būdai, kai vandenilį išskiria mikroorganizmai ar augalai;(iv) biological pathways whereby hydrogen is released by microorganisms or plants;
(v) naudojant plazmos šaltinius. Šie vandenilio gavimo iš vandens būdai aprašyti US2009308729, US7384619 patentiniuose dokumentuose.(v) Using plasma sources. These methods of obtaining hydrogen from water are described in US2009308729, US7384619.

IŠRADIMO REALIZAVIMO APRAŠYMASDESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Šiame išradime pateiktasis vandenilio gavybos iš vandens garų būdas realizuojamas šiais etapais:The process for producing hydrogen from water vapor according to the present invention is carried out in the following steps:
I. Formuojama nanostruktūrinė medžiaga, kurioje vyksta vandens molekulių skaldymas į deguonies ir vandenilio atomus ir vandenilio atskyrimas. Ją sudaro plona (2-5 pm) storio danga 1 (fig. 1), toliau vadinama membrana, kuri užnešama ant porėto (200-500 pm) storio padėklo 2, atliekančio dangos mechaninio laikiklio funkciją. Membranų suformavimui ant porėtos (porų dydis - iki 100 nm) medžiagos paviršiaus gali būti panaudoti visi žinomi, pavyzdžiui, PVD - fizinio garų nusodinimo - ar CVD - cheminio garų nusodinimo, nanomedžiagų sintezės būdai. Membrana, metalinė arba keramikinė (AI2O3), turi tankią nanokristalinę (kristalitų dydis - 15-50 nm) struktūrą su tarpkristaliniais kanalais, kurių matmenys neviršija 1 nm.I. A nanostructured material is formed in which water molecules are decomposed into oxygen and hydrogen atoms and hydrogen is separated. It consists of a thin (2-5 µm) thick coating 1 (Fig. 1), hereinafter referred to as a membrane, which is applied to a porous (200-500 µm) thick substrate 2 serving as a mechanical support for the coating. All known techniques, such as PVD - physical vapor deposition - or CVD - chemical vapor deposition, nanomaterial synthesis - can be used to form membranes on the porous surface (up to 100 nm). The membrane, metallic or ceramic (AI2O3), has a dense nanocrystalline structure (crystallite size 15-50 nm) with intercrystalline channels not exceeding 1 nm in size.
II. Membrana 1, suformuota ant porėto membranos laikiklio 2, talpinama į vakuuminę kamerą 3 (fig. 2). Kamera atsiurbiama vakuuminiais siurbliais 4 iki aukšto vakuumo (10'2 Pa ir geresnio), tada dujų maišytuve 5 formuojamas darbinių dujų mišinys, kurį sudaro vandens garai, pridedant 2-5 atominių procentų inertinių dujų (Ar ar He), kurios reikalingos palaikyti aukštą jonizacijos laipsnį ir stabilų plazmos funkcionavimą, ir jomis užpildomas vakuuminis įrenginys, kol pasiekiamas 1-10 Pa slėgis. Suformavus darbinių dujų mišinį, atliekama darbinių dujų jonizacija. Priklausomai nuo naudojamo maitinimo šaltinio 6, generatoriaus rūšies ir išsklaidomos darbinėse dujose energijos dydžio, pasiekiamas jonizacijos laipsnis sudaro 5-10 atominių procentų. Plazmai 7 generuoti gali būti panaudoti įvairūs būdai - pastovios srovės ir impulsiniai srovės šaltiniai, aukšto dažnumo generatoriai, indukciniai ar talpuminiai metodai. Jonizuotose dujose susidaro vandens, OH, O, H ir kiti teigiami ir neigiami jonai.II. The membrane 1 formed on the porous membrane holder 2 is inserted into the vacuum chamber 3 (Fig. 2). The chamber is aspirated by vacuum pumps 4 to a high vacuum (10 ' 2 Pa and better), then the gas mixer 5 forms a working gas mixture of water vapor by adding 2-5 atomic percent of the inert gas (Ar or He) needed to maintain the high ionization degree and stable plasma function, and they fill the vacuum unit until a pressure of 1-10 Pa is reached. After formation of the working gas mixture, the ionization of the working gas is performed. Depending on the power supply 6 used, the type of generator used, and the amount of energy dissipated in the working gas, the degree of ionization achieved is 5-10 atomic percent. Plasma 7 can be generated in a variety of ways - DC and pulse current sources, high frequency generators, inductive or capacitive methods. The ionized gas produces water, OH, O, H and other positive and negative ions.
III. Plasma functions as an ion source 8 to produce positive ions, including molecular water, OH, and others containing hydrogen as well as positive hydrogen ions. The plasma chamber is separated from the implantation chamber by a slide valve 9. To accelerate positive ions and to target the surface of membrane 1, the membrane holder is provided with a pulsed (2050 ps) negative potential of 500-1000 V with a dedicated power supply 10. Directional ion flux 11 is formed by electrodes 12 of special design and is directed to membrane 1. Molecular ions, in interaction with surface atoms of membrane 1, decompose into oxygen and hydrogen atoms in its surface layer. The cleaved hydrogen atoms diffuse through the edges of the nanocrystallites through the membrane 1 and, in molecular form, through the porous substrate 2 and pass into the hydrogen gas collection chamber 13. The cleavage of the molecules into their atoms takes place as shown in FIG. 3. Positive molecular ions 11 with energies greater than 100 eV fall into membrane 1 and decompose in the surface layer (up to 10 nm) of membrane 1 to the atoms they form - hydrogen 14 and oxygen 15. The energy required to cleave the water molecule into atoms, does not exceed 10 eV. The loose oxygen and hydrogen atoms 14, 15 are localized in the lattice's intermodal nodes and interact with the surrounding atoms that form the membrane. Further, since the oxygen atoms are chemically active, they form chemical compounds with metal atoms (oxides) and thus accumulate in the superficial layer 16 (Fig. 1), the thickness of which does not exceed the depth of oxygen ion penetration in the given material (10 nm). At this point, the hydrogen atoms move at inter-crystal boundaries, which diffusion coefficient is 2-3 orders of magnitude higher than the diffusion coefficient in the crystal volume, through the nanostructured membrane 1. Therefore, temperatures of 500-600 K are sufficient for hydrogen to move from the implanted surface layer 16 through membrane 1 porous tray 2, of which - to the hydrogen collection chamber 13. At this point, the oxygen atoms remain bound in the chemical compounds in the surface layer 16. This separates the hydrogen atoms from the oxygen atoms upon decomposition of the water molecule.
Siūlomas vandenilio gavybos būdas suteikia naujas galimybes vandeniliui iš vandens gauti, nenaudojant brangių katalizatorių ir neekologiškų cheminių technologijų. Vandens molekulių skaldymo joninės implantacijos būdu efektyvumas siekia 100 procentų, vandenilio atskyrimo membranose nuo deguonies ir kitų priemaišinių dujų efektyvumas artimas 100 procentų.The proposed method of hydrogen extraction offers new opportunities for hydrogen from water without the use of expensive catalysts and non-organic chemical technologies. The ionic implantation efficiency of water molecules reaches 100 percent, while the efficiency of hydrogen separation in membranes from oxygen and other impurities is close to 100 percent.
Procesas kontroliuojamas ir lengvai automatizuojamas.The process is controlled and easily automated.
Vartotojai turės naują vandenilio iš vandens gavybos technologiją, kuri leis spręsti aktualias vandenilio ekonomikos problemas.Consumers will have a new technology for the production of hydrogen from water, which will address the pressing challenges of the hydrogen economy.
