Abstract

본 발명은 커넥팅 로드에 관한 것으로, 피스톤 핀과 연결되는 소단부와 본체 및 크랭크 핀에 연결되는 대단부 전체를 알류미늄 합금으로 주조하되 대단부의 상부캡과 하부캡에서 클랭크 핀 베어링과 접하는 부분에 강성 보강용 심재를 인써트하여 구성된다. 이로써, 대단부의 필요한 강성을 유지하면서 커넥팅 로드의 경량화로 연비 향상 및 내구성 개선의 효과가 있다.

Claims (2)

  1. 피스토의 직선운동을 크랭크 샤프트에 회전운동으로 전달하는 커넥팅 로드에 있어서, 소단부와 대단부 및 본체를 모두 알루미늄 합금으로 주조하되, 상하부 베어링을 각기 보지하는 상하부캡의 내측면에 보강용 심재가 인써트된 것을 특징으로 하는 커넥팅 로드
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 보강용 심재는 주철재로서 상하부캡과 융착되어 결합된 것을 특징으로 하는 커넥팅 로드
