Abstract

Claims (6)

  1. 단일 트랙에 한정된 제1부호어와 복수의 트랙의 주위를 순환하는 사이클에 한정된 제2부호어를 갖는 승적부호로 구현된 프레임 기본 에러 방지 인코딩 동작의 실행하에서 복수의 병렬 및 균일 자기 테이프 트랙 상에 디지탈 데이터를 전환가능하게 저장하기 위한 시스템에 있어서, 테이프 판독 모드에서 상기 시스템은 데이터 처리 동기화 장치의 제어 하에서 제1폐쇄 서보 루프의 테이프를 구동하고, 테이프 기록 모드에서는 모터 피드백 장치의 제어 하에서 제2폐쇄 루프의 테이프를 구동하기 위한 테이프 드라이버 수단을 갖되, 상기 테이프 드라이버 수단은 상기 테이프와 응용 시스템 사이를 중개하는 프레임와이즈 버퍼링 데이터용 양방향 버퍼 수단을 갖지만, 상기 테이프 기록 모드에서는 앰블 프레임 발생기로부터의 앰블 프레임 또는 상기 버퍼 수단으로부터의 데이터 프레임을 상기 테이프에 교환 가능하게 제공하고, 또한 상기 시스템은 상기 테이프 기록 모드에서 배타적 잉여 프레임 상에 상기 인코딩 수단에 의해 생성된 모든 여분의 심볼을 할당하는 것에 의해, 앰블 프레임을 참조하지 않고 복수의 연속적인 프레임을 가로 질러서 복수의 균일한 심볼 시리즈에 관하여 동작하는 리드 솔로몬 부호로 프레임와이즈 에러 방지용 인코딩 수단을 활성화시키면서 프레임와이즈 양방향 데이터 처리용 응용수단, 즉 상기 테이프드라이버 수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 프레임 기본 승적 부호를 디코딩하고, 그렇게 디코드된 교정 프레임을 출력하기 위한 제1디코더 수단을 갖고, 상기 제1디코더 수단의 불충분성을 검출하고, 게다가 상기 일련의 프레임을 가로질러서 상기 리드 솔로몬 부호 뿐만 아니라 상기 배타적 잉여 프레임을 디코딩하기 위한 제2디코더 수단을 활성화시키는 검출 수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
  3. 제2항에 있어서 그것으로 인해 디코드되지 않은 프레임에 근거하여 상기 불충분성을 예상하는 제2검출 수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
  4. 제1항, 제2항 또는 제3항에 기재된 시스템에서 이용하는 인코딩 장치.
  5. 제1항, 제2항 또는 제3항에 기재된 시스템에서 이용하는 디코딩 장치.
  6. 제1항, 제2항 또는 제3항에 기재된 시스템, 또는 제4항 또는 제5항에 기재된 시스템과 인터페이스하는 매체.
