Abstract

본 발명은 CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) 셀룰라 시스템에서의 개방루프 전력제어방법에 관한 것으로서, 종래 기술에서는 개방루프 전력제어 상수를 셀의 크기에 상관없이 고정시켜 놓으므로써 기지국의 수신 신호세기가 일정치 않았고, 또한 역방향링크의 용량을 감소시키는 문제점이 있었다. 이를 해결하기 위한 본 발명은 CDMA 셀룰라 시스템에서의 개방루프 전력 제어상수를 셀마다 변경시키면서 단말기에서 기지국으로 보내는 출력신호세기를 조절함으로써 기지국의 수신신호세기를 일정하게 한다. 이때, 그 개방루프 전력제어상수는 단말기가 호를 시작할 대 또는 핸드오프 할 때 기지국에서 전송하는 응답 메세지에 하나의 파라메타로 포함시켜 전송된다. 따라서, 본 발명은 CDMA 셀룰라 시스템에서 기지국의 수신신호세기가 일정하고, 역방향 링크의 용량을 증대시킬 수 있고, 그에 따라 경제적인 CDMA 셀룰라 시스템을 구현할 수가 있는 것이다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
