Abstract

Claims (18)

  1. 금속 지지층에 도포하기 위한 연마 특성을 가진 복합 코팅에 있어서, 상기 금속 지지층에 접착되는 세라믹 매트릭스, 상기 세라믹 매트릭스내에 배치되고 상기 세라믹 매트릭스의 전단 강도보다 큰 전단 강도와 모난 형상을 각각 가지는 다수의 세라믹 연마 입자를 포함하는 복합 코팅.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 세라믹 연마 입자는 탄화물과 질화물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되는 복합 코팅.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 세라믹 매트릭스는 내화성 산화물인 복합 코팅.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 세라믹 매트릭스는 상기 복합 코팅의 50% 이상을 포함하는 복합 코팅.
  5. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 세라믹 매트릭스는 상기 복합 코팅의 60%를 포함하는 복합 코팅.
  6. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 복합 코팅은 플라즈마 스프레이에 의해서 상기 지지층에 도포되는 복합 코팅.
  7. 금속 재료로 이루어진 몸체, 상기 몸체의 표면에 접착되는 복합 코팅을 포함하며, 상기 복합 코팅은 세라믹 매트릭스와 상기 세라믹 매트릭스내에 배치된 다수의 세라믹 연마 입자를 포함하고, 상기 연마 입자는 상기 세라믹 매트릭스의 전단 강도보다 큰 전단 강도와 모난 형상을 가지는, 가스 터빈 엔진 회전자 조립체에 사용되는 금속 지지층.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 세라믹 연마 입자는 탄화물과 질화물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되는 금속 지지층.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 세라믹 매트릭스는 내화성 산화물인 금속 지지층.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 세라믹 매트릭스는 상기 복합 코팅의 50% 이상을 포함하는 금속 지지층.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 복합 코팅은 플라즈마 분무에 의해서 상기 지지층에 도포되는 금속 지지층.
  12. 분말형태의 세라믹 매트릭스 재료를 제공하는 단계, 상기 세라믹 매트릭스의 전단 강도보다 큰 전단 강도와 모난 형상을 가진 세라믹 연마 입자를 제공하는 단계, 코팅될 금속 지지층의 표면을 세척하는 단계, 상기 금속 지지층상에 상기 세라믹 매트릭스 재료와 상기 연마 입자를 분무하는 플라즈마에 의해서 상기 금속 지지층상에 코팅을 형성하되, 상기 세라믹 매트릭스 재료는 상기 금속 지지층에 접착되고 상기 연마 입자는 상기 세라믹 매트릭스내에 분산되는 단계를 포함하는, 금속 지지층상에 연마 코팅을 도포하는 방법.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 상기 연마 코팅은 이중 포트 플라즈마 스프레이 토오치를 사용하여 형성되는 방법.
  14. 제13항에 있어서, 상기 세라믹 매트릭스 분말 및 상기 연마 입자는 3미크론 내지 150미크론의 크기를 가지는 방법.
  15. 제14항에 있어서, 상기 세라믹 매트릭스 재료는 내화성 산화물인 방법.
  16. 제14항에 있어서, 상기 세라믹 연마 입자는 탄화물과 질화물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되는 방법.
  17. 연마 코팅에 플라즈마 분무하기 위한 분말 혼합물에 있어서, 내화성 산화물 세라믹 분말, 상기 세라믹 분말의 전단 강도보다 큰 전단 강도와 모난 형상을 가진 다수의 연마 입자를 포함하되, 상기 분말 혼합물은 상기 세라믹 분말 및 상기 연마 입자와 동일한 용적량으로 이루어지고, 상기 세라믹 분말과 상기 연마 입자의 메쉬 크기(mesh size)는 동일한 분말 혼합물.
  18. 제17항에 있어서, 상기 세라믹 연마 재료는 탄화물과 질화물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되는 분말 혼합물.
