Abstract
본 발명은 이동전화나 무선호출등 무선통신 서비스 제공시 터널이나 빌딩내, 지하공간등 전파음영지역에 이동전화 또는 무선호출 신호를 제공하기 위한 중계방법에 관한 것으로서, 특히 광케이블을 이용하여 중계기의 커버리지(coverage)를 안정적으로 확장하는 무선 신호 중계방법에 관한 것이며, 중계기의 커버리지를 확정하기 위하여 각 안테나 간을 동축케이블 및 양방향 전력증폭기를 이용하여 중계시스템을 구성하는 종래의 방식에 있어 각 안테나는 전단에 위치한 양방향 전력 증폭기, 전력분배기를 통해 신호를 공급 받는데 여러개의 양방향전력 증폭기중 어느 하나라도 장애가 발생시 장애가 발생한 양방향 전력 증폭기 뒤단의 안테나들은 신호를 공급받을 수 없게 되어 서비스 제공이 불가능한 문제가 있는바, 이러한 문제를 해결하고자 본 발명은 종래 방법에 사용하는 동축케이블 및 양방향 전력 증폭기 대신 광케이블과 전기/광변환기 및 광/전기변환기를 두어 기지국과 이동국간 신호중계의 신뢰도를 향상시키고,동축케이블 사용시 케이블에 인입되는 전기적 잡음 및 간섭등을 완전히 제거 하며, 동축케이블에 비해 가연적이고 경량인 광케이블을 채용함으로써 케이블 설치가 용이한 장점을 가지는 무선신호 중계방법이다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
