이진양자화에 있어서, 이진화 오차를 양자화하여 저장하여 이를 이용함으로써 오차를 저장하는 저장수단의 크기를 줄이고, 저장수단으로의 일기와 쓰기 횟수를 줄이기는 위해 양자화된 오차를 이용한 오차확산 이진화법으로 이진화한 이진화상과 기존의 오차확산 이진화법으로 이진화한 이진화상을 환상평균 주파수 스펙트럼(radially averaged frequency spectrum)으로 비교한 결과 저주파에서 거의 차이가 없고, 고주파에 미소한 차이를 보이며, 인간의 시각특성인 저주파신호에 민감하고, 고주파 신호에 대해서 둔감하므로 화질의 차이가 거의 없도록 한 것임.In binary quantization, the binarization error is quantized and stored to use it to reduce the size of the storage means for storing the error, and to reduce the number of times of writing and writing to the storage means.
