Abstract
액정 패널을 배면 투사 방식에서 스크린으로 사용하고 전면 투사방식에서 투사 렌즈로부터의 투사광이 통과할 수 있는 투명한 패널로 사용하는 전면 및 배면 투사형 디스플레이 장치가 개시되어 있다.Disclosed are a front and rear projection display device using a liquid crystal panel as a screen in a rear projection method and a transparent panel through which projection light from a projection lens can pass in a front projection method.
종래에 사용되고 있는 전면 및 배면 투사형 디스플레이 장치는 이처럼 배면 투사방식 뿐만 아니라 전면 투사 방식으로 사용하기 위해, 배면 투사 방식에서의 배면 투사용 스크린을 우회하여 광로를 형성하거나 또는 그와 같은 불투명한 스크린을 이동하여 광로를 형성하는 불편하고 비경제적인 방식을 사용하였다.Conventionally used front and rear projection display devices bypass the rear projection screen in the rear projection method in order to use not only the rear projection method but also the front projection method to form an optical path or move such an opaque screen.
