Abstract
다해상도로 분할된 영상에서 움직임 추정을 계층적으로는 움직임 추정 장치가 개시되는바, 이는 영상을 다해상도로 분할하는 영상 분할부와, 가장 해상도가 낮은 저해상도 대역에서 블럭 정합으로 움직임을 추정하여 부호화하는 저해상도 대역 움직임 추정부와, 사이 저해상도 대역 움직임 추정부에서 출력되는 움직임 벡터를 그 다음 해상도의 영상 대역의 후보 벡터로 삼아 이 벡터의 주변 소정점에서 움직임을 추정하여 부호화하는 다음 행상도 대역 움직임 추정부를 분할 영역에 대응하여 소정개 구비되는 다음 해상도 대역 움직임 추정 장치와, 상기 다음 해상도 대역 움직임 추정 장치에서의 움직임 추정이 끝나면 상기 다음 해상도 대역 움직임 추정장치에서 출력되는 움직임 벡터를 후보 벡터로 삼아 고해상도 대역의 움직임을 추정하여 부호화하는 고해상도 대역 움직임 추정부로 구성되어, 다해상도로 분할된 영상에서 저해상도 영상의 움직임 벡터를 다음 해상도 영상의 후보 벡터로 삼아 움직임 추정을 계층적으로 수행함으로써, 움직임 추정의 계산량을 줄이면서 움직임 추정을 용이하게 할 수 있다.

Claims (1)
- 영상을 다해상도로 분할하는 영상 분할 수단과; 상기 영상 분할 수단에서 분할된 대역중 가장 해상도가 낮은 저해상도 대역에서 블럭 정합으로 움직임을 추정하여 부호화하는 저해상도 대역 움직임 추정(Motion Estimation)수단과; 상기 저해상도 대역 움직임 추정 수단에서 구한 움직임 벡터(Motion Vector)를 그 다음 해상도 대역의 후보 벡터로 삼아 이 후보 벡터의 주변 소정점에서 움직임을 추정하여 부호화하는 다음, 해상도 대역 움직임 추정부를 저해상도 대역을 제외한 분할 영역에 대응하여 소정개 구비되는 다음 해상도 대역 움직임 추정(Motion Estimation)수단과; 상기 다음 해상도 대역 움직임 추정(Motion Estimation)수단에서의 움직임 추정이 끝나면 상기 다음 해상도 대역 움직임 추정 수단에서 구한 움직임 벡터(Motion Vector)를 후보 벡터로 삼아 고해상도 대역 움직임을 추정하여 부호화하는 고해상도 대역 움직임 추정 수단으로 구성되는 움직임 추정(Motion Estimation)장치.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
