종래 전원제어회로는 핫샤시의 경우는 티브이의 내부, 외부의 동일한 그라운드에 의한 감전위험등으로 대형티브이의 경우에 부적합하며, 1차 및 2차측의 접지분리형인 콜드샤시의 경우는 감전위험등의 문제는 없으나 티브이의 내부와 외부의 그라운드분리를 위하여 1차와 2차가 분리된 릴레이스위치를 사용하게 됨에 따라 릴레이스위치를 구동하기 위한 스텐바이전원이 필요하므로 스텐바이시 전력손실의 문제점이 있었다.Conventional power supply control circuits are not suitable for large-sized systems due to the risk of electric shock due to the same ground inside and outside of TVs in the case of hot chassis, and in the case of cold chassis with ground separation type of primary and secondary sides.
