Abstract

본 발명은 제지용 피치 콘트롤제(Pitch Controlling Agent)와 그의 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 활석광물을 건식 미분쇄처리하여 얻은 활석분체의 입자표면을 물로 세정하고 염산으로 1차 개질처리한 다음 보류향상제 또는 분산제 등으로 2차 개질처리하여 제조됨으로써, 피치 제거효과가 높은 새로운 제지용 피치 콘트롤제와 그의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.

Claims (6)

  1. 제지용 피치 콘트롤제를 제조하는데 있어서, 활석광물을 건식 미분쇄처리하여 얻은 활석분체의 입자표면을 물로 세척하고 염산으로 1차 개질처리한 다음 이 개질물을 보류향상제 또는 분산제로 2차 개질처리하여 제조하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제지용 피치 콘트롤제의 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 활석분체는 평균입자경이 5㎛이하의 미분체를 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제지용 피치 콘트롤제의 제조방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 염산은 농도 5-17.5%의 것을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제지용 피치 콘트롤제의 제조방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 보류 향상제로는 황산알루미늄(aluminum sulfate), 인산나트륨(sodium phosphate), 규산나트륨(sodium silicate) 또는 실란커플링제(si-lane coupling agent)를 사용하고, 분산제로서는 말레산(maleic acid), 시트로산 (citric acid) 또는 스테아르산(stearic acid)를 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제지용 피치 콘트롤제의 제조방법.
  5. 제1항 또는 제4항에 있어서, 상기 보류향상제와 분산제는 그 첨가함량이 활석분체의 건량에 대하여 0.3-1.0중량% 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제지용 피치 콘트롤제의 제조방법.
  6. 흡유량이 70%이상이고 침강시간이 72시간 이상이며 피치 제거율이 60%이상의 값을 갖는 상기 제1항에서 제조된 제지용 피치 콘트롤제.
