Abstract

비디오 테이프와 같은 자기기록매체에 정보를 기록하고 재생하는 자기헤드가 개시되어 있다. 개시된 헤드는 테이프와 습동하는 코어반체(21,22)의 상면부에 코팅되어 직접 자기기록매체와 접촉하는 보호층(29)을 구비한다. 그 보호층(29)은 예컨데 비정질의 비자성체로서 표면 윤활성이 높은 재질로 코팅되는 것이다. 그 보호층(29)을 구비한 자기헤드는 기존의 기록재생특성을 크게 변화시키지 않고 습동노이즈를 개선하고 특히 우수한 내마모성으로 수명을 크게 연장시킨다. (제4도)A magnetic head for recording and reproducing information on a magnetic recording medium such as a video tape is disclosed. The disclosed head is provided with a protective layer 29 coated on the upper surface of the core bodies 21 and 22 which slide with the tape and in direct contact with the magnetic recording medium. The protective layer 29 is coated with a material having high surface lubricity, for example, as an amorphous nonmagnetic material. The magnetic head provided with the protective layer 29 improves the sliding noise without significantly changing the existing recording and reproducing characteristics, and greatly extends the life with particularly excellent wear resistance. Claims

일측 코어반체와 타측 코어반체의 접합으로 되어 자로를 형성하며 자기기록 매체와 접촉하여 습동하는 접촉면과 이 접촉면상의 자속을 누설시키는 갭을 가지는 코어부재, 이 코어부재에 감겨 자속을 발생하는 적어도 하나의 코일을 구비하여 되는 자기헤드에 있어서, 상기 접촉면에 코팅되어 그 접촉면 대신 상기 자기기록 매체와 직접 접촉하는 비자성체의 보호층이 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 자기헤드.A core member formed by joining one core half body and the other core half body to form a magnetic path and having a contact surface sliding in contact with the magnetic recording medium, and a gap for leaking magnetic flux on the contact surface, and at least one wound around the core member to generate magnetic flux.
