Abstract

본 발명은 고압에서 수행되는 1 이상의 질소 흡착단계 및 저압에서 수행되는 이상의 질소 탈착단계를 포함하며, 순환식 압력 변화에 흡착제 내에서 질소를 함유하는 기체혼합물로부터 질소를 선택적으로 흡착하여 질소를 분리하는 PSA 방법에 있어서, 상기 흡착제는 회전식 흡착기내에 배열되고, 흡착제의 50% 이상이 리튬으로 50% 이상 교환된 제올라이트로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 질소의 선택적 흡착에 의해 기체 혼합물로부터 질소를 분리하는 방법에 관한 것이다.

Claims (9)

  1. 고압에서 수행되는 1 이상의 질소 흡착단계 및 저압에서 수행되는 1이상의 질소 탈착단계를 포함하여, 순환식 압력 변화에 의해 흡착제 내에서 질소를 함유하는 기체혼합물로부터 질소를 선택적으로 흡착하여 질소를 분리하는 PSA 방법에 있어서, 상기 흡착제를 회전식 흡착기내에 배열되고, 흡착제의 50%이상이 리튬으로 50% 이상 교환된 제올라이트로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 질소의 선택적 흡착에 의해 기체 혼합물로부터 질소를 분리하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제올라이트는 Si/A1의 몰비가 1 내지 10, 바람직하게는 1 내지 5인 합성 또는 천연의 포우저사이트인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제1항 또는 2항에 있어서, 상기 제올라이트는 Si/A1의 몰비가 1 내지 1.5, 바람직하게는 1 내지 1.25인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 제올라이트는 70% 이상, 바람직하게는 80% 이상, 더욱 바람직하게는 85% 이상이, 리튬으로 교환된 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 제올라이트는 Si/A1의 몰비가 1 내지 1.5인 제올라이트 X이며, 80% 이상, 바람직하게는 95% 이상이 리튬으로 교환된 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  6. 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 제올라이트는 50 내지 95%의 양이 리튬에 의해, 그리고 5 내지 50%의 양이 칼슘, 마그네슘, 바륨, 스트론튬, 코발트, 구리, 크롬, 철, 망간, 니켈 및 아연으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 2가 양이온에 의해 교환된 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 제1항 내지 제6항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 흡착제 분량의 100%가 리튬으로 교환된 제올라이트로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  8. 제1항 내지 제7항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 고압은 90 내지 300KPa, 바람직하게는 100 내지 150KPa이며, 저압은 10 내지 70KPa, 바람직하게는 25 내지 40KPa인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  9. 제1항 내지 제8항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 질소를 함유하는 기체 혼합물은 공기이고, 질소는 공기중의 산소와 분리시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
