Abstract

본 발명은 스펀레이스화 부직포를 형성하기 위해 연속 플렉시필라멘트로 만든 비접착 플래쉬 스펀 웹내로 스테이플 섬유 웹을 수압식 니들링하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 스테이플 섬유의 웹은 비접착 플래쉬 스펀 웹에 대향하며, 스펀레이스화 부직포를 형성하기 위해 스테이플 섬유가 비접착 플래쉬 스펀 웹내로 매립되어 그것과 엉키도록 수압식 니들화된다. 임의로, 스펀레이스화 부직포는 섬유의 통기성을 유지 또는 증가시키기 위해 열 접착될 수 있다. 열접착은 원하는 최종 용도에 따라 통기성의 정도를 조절하는데 사용될 수 있다. 본 발명의 방법에 의해 제조된 스펀레이스화 부직포는 열접착이 사용되었을 때는 여과 적용법(예:진공청소기 백)에서, 열접착이 사용되지 않은 경우에는 가먼트, 슬립핑백, 베개, 이불등의 벌키한 다운프루프 및 페더프루프 장벽 라이너로서 특히 유용하다.

제2도는 드럼 물 제트 이외에 벨트 물 제트를 보여주는 제1도의 변형 도면이다.
제3도는 제1도 또는 제2도의 스펀 레이스화 부직포를 임의로 열접착시키기 위해 사용한 팔머 접착기의 구조도이다.

Claims (16)

  1. (a)지지 스크린상의 비접착 플래쉬 스펀 웹에 대향하여 스테이플 섬유 웹을 위치시켜 복합웹 구조물을 제조하는 단계와, (b) 스테이플 섬유가 플래쉬 스펀 웹을 관통하여 비접착 플래쉬 스펀 웹내에 매립되어 그와 엉키도록 상기 지지 복합웹 구조물의 스테이플 섬유 측을 수압식으로 니들링하는 단계를 포함하는 스펀레이스화 부직포의 제조 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 수압식 니들링을 200 내지 3,000psi 사이의 압력에서 작동하는 물 제트를 사용하여 수행하는 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 플래쉬 스펀웹이 폴리올레핀 플렉시필라멘트로 이루어진 방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 폴리올레핀이 폴리에틸렌 및 폴리프로필렌으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 스테이플 섬유가 폴리에스테르, 나일론, 아크릴, 아라미드, 목재펄프 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 방법.
  6. 제1항에 방법에 의해 제조된, 적어도 4ft3/ft2/min.(약 13㎥/㎡/min.)의 프레지어(Frazier) 기공도를 갖는 비접착 복합 부직포.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 부직포의 통기성을 유지 또는 증가시키기 위하여 스펀레이스화 부직포를 열접착시키는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 부직포가 10내지 40ft3/ft2/min.(약 32.8내지 130㎥/㎡/min.)의 프레지어 기공도를 갖는 방법.
  9. 제7항의 방법에 의해 제조된, 적어도 4ft3/ft2/min.(약 13㎥/㎡/min.)의 프레지어 기공도를 갖는 열접착 스펀레이스화 부직포.
  10. 비접착 플래쉬 스펀 웹내에 매립되어 그와 엉키는 스테이플 섬유를 갖는 비접착 플래쉬 스펀 웹으로 이루어지고 적어도 4ft3/ft2/min.(약 13㎥/㎡/min.)의 프레지어 기공도를 갖는, 비접착 스펀레이스화 부직포.
  11. 비접착 플래쉬 스펀 웹내에 매립되어 그와 엉키는 스테이플 섬유를 갖는 비접착 슬래쉬 스펀 웹으로 이루어지고 적어도 4ft3/ft2/min.(약 13㎥/㎡/min.)의 프레지어 기공도를 갖는, 열접착된 스펀레이스화 부직포.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 10 내지 40ft3/ft2/min.(약 32.8 내지 130㎥/㎡/min.)사이의 프레지어 기공도를 갖는 열접착 스펀레이스화 부직포.
  13. 제10항의 비접착 스펀에이스화 부직포로부터 제조된 다운프루프(downproof) 및 페더프루프(featherproof) 라이너.
  14. 제10항에 있어서, 베개, 슬립핑백, 이불 및 가먼트용 라이너로 사용되는 비접착 스펀레이스화 부직포.
  15. 제11항에 열접착 스펀레이스화 부직포로 제조된 여과 매체.
  16. 제11항의 열접착 스펀레이스화 부직포로 제조된 진공 청소기 백.
