Abstract
본 발명은 상류 말단(12)에 유입도관(10)과 도관(10)의 하류에 위치한 다수의 촉매 챔버(16,18,20), 및 이의 하류 말단에 배출관(32)을 함유하며, 여기에서 2개 이상의 챔버(16,18,20)는 내부에 하나 또는 그 이상의 오리피스를 가진 판(24,26)으로 연결되어 있어 기류가 제1챔버(16)에서 제2챔버(18)로, 제2챔버(18)에서 제3챔버(20)로 흐르도록 하며, 그 챔버(16,18,20)내의 적어도 하나의 표면에는 백금, 로듐, 및 레늄으로 구성된 군중에서 선택된 금속이 침착되는 촉매 용기(14)에 관한 것이다.

Claims (10)
- 상류 말단에, 유입관과, 도관의 하류에 위치한 다수의 촉매 챔버, 및 이의 하류 말단에 배출관을 함유하며, 여기에서 2개 이상의 챔버는 내부에 하나 또는 그 이상의 오리피스를 가진 판으로 연결되어 있어 기류가 제1챔버에서 제2챔버로 흐르도록 하며, 그 챔버내의 적어도 하나의 표면에는 백금, 로듐, 및 레늄으로 구성된 군중에서 선택된 금속이 침착되는 촉매 용기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 금속이 침착되는 표면은 챔버들중의 하나이상의 챔버내에 충전물질을 함유하고 있는 것임을 특징으로 하는 용기.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 충전 물질은 강철, 철, 세라믹 및 열경화성 중합체로 구성된 군중에서 선택됨을 특징으로 함유하는 용기.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 충전 물질은 저탄소 강철임을 특징으로 하는 용기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 용기 유입관 및 용기 배출관사이에 위치한 제2의 공기 유입용 유입도관을 추가로 함유하는 용기.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 제2의 공기 유입관은 적어도 하나의 챔버의 하류와 적어도 하나의 챔버의 상류에 위치함을 특징으로 하는 용기.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 제2의 공기 유입관은 약15% 이하의 부피류를 제2의 공기 유입관의 하류에 제공함을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 제2의 공기 유입관은 약 2 내기 4%의 부피류를 제2의 공기 유입관의 하류에 제공함을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 촉매 수집기의 배출관에 인접하게 위치한 산화 촉매 공급원을 추가로 함유하는 시스템.
