Abstract

본 발명은 입력화상에 대한 영상신호 압축부호화방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로, 입력화상에 대하여 공간영역에 대한 복잡도에 따라 각 마이크로블럭에 대한 복잡도정규화값을 구하는 제1단계; 입력학상에 대하여 이산여현변환을 취하고, 각 마이크로블럭에 대한 이산여현변환계수가 1보다 작은 계수를 카운트하여 제로계수합을 구하는 제2단계; 상기 제로계수합에 따라 각 마이크로블럭에 대한 제로계수정규화값을 구하는 제3단계; 상기 제로계수합과 압축률에 따라 각 마이크로블럭에 대한 천이가중치를 구하는 제4단계 및 상기 복잡도정규화값, 상가 제로계수정규화값 및 상기 천이가중치를 더하여 압축정수를 구하는 제5단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하며, 복장도가 다른 영상에 대하여도 화상의 열화없이 일정한 비트율로 부호화할 수 잇점이 있다.

Claims (7)

  1. 입력화상을 Y, Cr, Cb신호로 구성된 마크로블럭으로 나누고, 각 마크로블럭은 소정의 블럭으로 나누어져 구성된 입력화상에 대한 영상부호화에 있어서, 상기 입력화상에 대하여 공간영역에 대한 복잡도에 따라 각 마이크로블럭에 대한 복잡도정규화값을 구하는 제1단계; 상기 입력화상에 대하여 이산여변환을 취하고, 각 마크로블럭에 대한 이산여현변환계수가 1보다 작은 계수를 카운트하여 제로계수합을 구하는 제2단계; 상기 제로계수합에 따라 마크로블럭에 대한 제로계수정규화값을 구하는 3단계; 상기 제로계구합과 압축률에 따라 각 마크로블럭에 대한 천이가중치를 구하는 제4단계 및 상기 복잡도정규화값, 상기 제로계수정규화값 및 상기 천이가중치를 더하여 압축정수를 구하는 제5단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 영상부호화방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1단계는 복잡도정규화값을 구하는 것이 휘도신호(Y)에 대하여 행하여짐을 특징으로 하는 영상부호화방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1단계는 마크로블럭의 각 블럭당 화소의 평균복잡도를 구하는 단계; 상기 화소의 평균복잡도에 따라 마크로블럭당 평균복잡도를 구하는 단계; 마크로블럭의 각 블럭에 대하여 상기 화소의 평균 복잡도와 실제화소값의 차이에 대한 블럭당 자승평균값을 구하는 단계; 마크로블럭에서 각 블럭에 대한 상기 자승평균값 중의 최소값에 1을 더하여 마크로블럭당 최소자승평균값을 구하는 단계; 및 각 마크로블럭에 대하여 상기 마크로블럭당 최소자승평균값과 상기 마크로블럭당 평균복잡도에 따라 정규화하여, 각 마크로블럭당 복잡도정규화값을 구하는 단계로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 영상부호화방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2단계는 상기 이산여현변환계수가 1보다 작은 계수는 Y, Cr, Cb에 대한 계수를 모두 포함함을 특징으로 하는 영상부호화방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제3단계는 상기 마크로블럭당 제로계수합을 모든 마크로블럭에 대하여 합하여 전체제로계수합을 구하는 단계; 상기 전체제로계수합에 따라 마크로블럭당 평균제로계수합을 구하는 단계; 상기 마크로블럭당 평균제로계수합과 상기 마크로블럭당 제로계수합의 차이에 따라 마크로블럭당 제로기수자승평균값을 구하는 단계; 및 상기 마크로블럭당 제로계수자승평균값과 상기 마크로블럭당 제로계수합에 따라 정규화하여, 각 마크로블럭당 제로계수정규화값을 구하는 단계로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 영상부호화방법.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제4단계는 상기 마크로블럭당 제로계수합을 모든 마크로블럭에 대하여 합하여 전체제로계수합을 구하는 단계; 상기 전체제로계수합에 따라 마크로블럭당 평균제로계수합을 구하는 단계; 및 상기 마크로블럭당 평균제로계수합과 압축률에 따라 각 마크로블럭에 대한 친이가중치를 구하는 단계로 이루어짐을 특깅으로 하는 영상부호화방법.
  7. Y, Cr, Cb신호의 마크로블럭으로 나누어지는 입력화상에 대하여, 시간영역의 데이타인 마크로블럭을 주파수영역의 데이타인 이산여현변환계수로 변환하여 에너지 압축을 행하는 이산여현변환부, 상기 이산여현변환부에서 에너지 압축된 영상신호를 소정의 양자화간격으로 양자화하는 에너지 압축된 영상신호를 소정의 양자화간격으로 양자화하는 양자학부, 정보량에 따라 가변 길이의 부호화데이타를 생성하여 전체적으로 최소한의 비트수로 부호화하는 가변장부호화부를 구비하는 영상부호화장치에 있어서, 입력화상의 픽셀값에 따라 복잡도를 계산하는 복잡도계산부; 각 마크로블럭에 대하여 상기 복잡도를 정규화하는 복잡도정규화부; 상기 이산여현변환부에서 변환된 이산여현변환계수에서 1보다 작은 제로계수를 카운트하는 제로계수카운트부; 각 마크로블럭에 대하여 상기 제로계수를 정규화하는 제로계수 정규화부;상기 제로계수와 압축률에 따라 천이가중치를 계산하는 가중치계산부; 및 상기 복잡도정규화값, 상기 제로계수정규화값 및 상기 천이가중치를 더하여 압축정수를 발생하여 상기 양자화기로 출력하는 가산기를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 영상부호화장치.
