Abstract

광 또는 광자기 기록매체의 정보를 기록재생하는 광픽업이 개시되어 있다. 개시된 광픽업은 부품의 최적한 배치를 위하여 반사광을 두개의 편광성분을 분할하는 웨라스톤 프리즘과 그 분할되는 반사광을 수광하는 2개의 광검출소자를 구비한다.이와같은 광픽업은 광학부품의 배치에 있어서 불필요한 공간과 소요부품수를 극소화하여 초소형 제작에 매우 유리하다.

Claims (1)

  1. 광기록매체의 정보를 기록재생하는 광픽업에 있어서, 광기록매체를 향해 입사광을 발생하는 광발생소자; 그 입사광을 광기록매체 집속하는 대물렌즈; 상기 광발생소자와 대물렌즈 사이에 배치되어 그 입사광을 직진시키고 광기록매체의 반사광을 P편광성분과 S편광성분으로 분할하는 웰라스톤 프리즘; 상기 웰라스톤 프리즘에 의하여 분할되는 광기록매체로부터의 반사광을 수광하는 적어도 하나의 광검출소자를 구비하여 된 것을 특징으로 하는 광픽업.
