Abstract

본 발명은 액정 표시소자용 백라이트 장치에 관한 것으로, 종래에는 코올드 캐소드 프로레이트 라이트를 사용하여 광원의 빛을 도광판에서 회전시킨후 반사판에서 반사하고 이후 확산판으로 확산하여 여러 진행 방향으로 액정표시소자에 인가하여 빛의 불균일한 휘도분포로 되어 액정표시소자의 성능을 저하시키는 문제점이 있었다.
본 발명은 상기와 같은 종래의 문제점을 감안하여 코올드 캐오스 프로레이트 라이트의 확산판위에 반사판을 포함하는 프리즘판을 부착하여 반사판을 통해 반사된 빛을 확산판에서 서로다른 진행방향으로 확산한후 프리즘판에서 일정한 진행 방향으로 액정표시 소자에 균일한 휘도 분포로 인가하여 애정표시소자의 성능을 향상하는 효과가 있다.

Claims (2)

  1. 광원(1)을 통한 빛을 회전시키는 도광판(2) 하부에 그 도광판(2)의 빛을 반사시키는 반사판(3)이 부착되고, 상기 도광판(2) 상부에 상기 반사판(3) 및 도광판(2)을 통한 빛을 확산하는 확산판(4)이 부착되며, 그 확산판(4)위에 확산된 빛을 일정방향으로 반사시키는 프리즘판(5)이 구비된 구조의 액정 표시소자용 백라이트 장치.
  2. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 프리즘판(5)내의 반사판(6)의 각은 45°가 됨을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자용 백라이트 장치.
