Abstract

모튤커버가 크게 개방될수 있도록 함과 동시에 에어백의 전개를 신속하게 한다.
모듈커버(18)에 2개의 개열선(24), (28)만 형성되어 있다.
개열선(24), (28)의 선단은 모듈커버(18)의 앞쪽가장자리(18f)까지 형성되어 있으며, 개열선(24),(28)의 후단은 모듈커버(18)의 뒷쪽 가장자리(18r)까지 형성되어 있다.
개열선(24)와 (28)사이의 도어형상부(30)에는 보강부재인 알루미늄 등의 금속판(32)이 삽입되어 있으며, 이 보강판은 인스트루먼트패널(22)의 개방부(2)의 앞쪽 가장자리와 뒷쪽 가장자리에 걸쳐진 상태로 있다.
모듈커버가 크게 개방할 수 있으므로, 에어백도 차량의 실내를 향해서 신속하게 전개할 수 있다.

Claims (1)

  1. 자동자의 인스트루먼트패널(22)에 설치되는 조수석용 에어백장치의 모듈커버이며, 에어백(14)이 전개될때, 전개되는 에어백(14)에 눌리면서 개열하여 모듈커버(18)의 중앙부의 차량의 실내를 향해서 개방되는 도어형상부로 하기 위한 개열선(24), (28)이 형성된 모듈 커버에 있어서, 상기한 개열선(24), (28)이, 모듈커버(18)의 차량의 좌측 가장자리를 따라서 뻗어있는 좌측 개열선(24)과 차량의 우측 가장자리를 따라서 뻗어있는 우측 개열선(28)으로 형성되어 있으며, 좌측 및 우측의 개열선은 모듈커버(18)의 차량의 전방으로의 가장자리(18r)까지 뻗어있는 것을 특징으로 하는, 조수석용 에어백장치의 모듈커버.
