Claims (10)

  1. 단면이 C형상을 취하며, 그 입술모양의 밀봉부재(26)가 서로를 향해 연장되고 각각의 경우 슬리브(15)상에 용착되는 환상비드(25)에 의해 슬리브 웨브(20)상에서 지지되며, 방사상 단부벽(12)을 구비하고 인장스크류(24)를 갖춘 클로저(21)에 수축될 수 있는 하우징(10) 및 슬리브(15)와 하우징(10)간에 삽입되고 하우징(10)내에서 길이방향 갭(13)에 연결되는 강삽입판(14)에 의해 둘러싸여지는 탄성체 밀봉 슬리브(15)를 구비하며, 슬리브(15)의 입술모양 밀봉부재(26)는 하우징(10)이 죄어지기 전에 커플링될 파이프의 공칭직경보다 직경이 더 크고, 상기 입술모양 밀봉부재(26)는 하우징(10)이 죄어지는 동안 황상비드(25)의 압축으로 인해 원주방향으로 압축되고 파이프 벽상에 부드럽게 눌려지게 되는 파이프 커플링에 있어서, 원주방향으로는 신축자재하게 유연하고 압축가능하지만 축방향으로는 견고하며 내부회복능력하에서 전체 표면에 걸쳐 바닥부(30)로 슬리브 웨브(20)상에 지지되는 환상 삽입체(28)가 제공됨을 특징으로 하는 파이프 커플링.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 삽입체(28)가 스냅링으로서 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 파이프 커플링.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 삽입체(28)가 V형 조인트(29)를 구비함을 특징으로 하는 파이프 커플링.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 삽입체(28)는 방사상으로 내측을 향하며 커플링이 비압축된 상태에서 그 내경이 커플링될 파이프의 공칭직경보다 크고 압축상태에서는 상기 공칭직경보다 작은, 연속 되거나 차단된 환상리브(31)를 구비함을 특징으로 하는 파이프 커플링.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 삽입체(28)는 적어도 하나의 원주부분(32), 바람직하게는 단부부분을 구비하며, 그 안에서 바닥부(30)와 환상리브(31)의 곡선반경이 확대되고 환상리브(31)의 내경은 그에 대응하여 감소됨을 특징으로 하는 파이프 커플링.
  6. 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 커플링 하우징(10)의 방사상 단부벽(12)과 파이프벽간에 커플링 조립상태로 놓이는 환상갭(27)은, 원주방향으로 압축될 수 있고 관련단부벽(12)에 눌려지게 됨으로써 커플링 하우징(10)의 원통형 재킷에 의해 파이프상에 놓일 수 있게되는 활주링(16)에 의해, 각각의 경우에 있어서, 폐쇄되고 파이프와 함께 활주시트를 형성함을 특징으로 하는 파이프 커플링.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 슬리브(15)는 각각의 단부면에서 활주링(16)을 부드럽게 에워싸는 연장부(19)를 구비함을 특징으로 하는 파이프 커플링.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 연장부(19)는 외부로 테이퍼 경사지는 단면을 취하며, 활주링(16)은 하우징(10,11)과 함께 대응 프로파일의 환상공간(18)을 형성함을 특징으로 하는 파이프 커플링.
  9. 제6항 내지 제8항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 활주링(16) 및/또는 삽입체(28)는 고분자, 천연 또는 합성 압축성 재료, 바람직하게는 폴리프로필렌으로 만들어짐을 특징으로 하는 파이프 커플링.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 활주링(16)은 하우징(10)이 죄어질 때 슬릿(17)이 최종위치 바로전에서 폐쇄되도록 스냅링으로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 파이프 커플링.
