제3도는 본 발명 방법의 용융스트림상의 영향을 나타낸 단면도.

Claims (18)

  1. 분말제조용 방법에 있어서, (A) 축방향으로 흐르는 용융물질의 스트림(stream)을 형성하는 단계, (B) 용융스트림 주위를 따라 발산하는 와류형의 가스의 환형스트림을 형성시키는 단계와, 여기서 발산하는 환형가스스트림으로부터 축방향으로 반대되는 방향에서 가스의 일부가 용융스트림쪽으로 흐르게 하도록 상기 가스스트림이 충분한 각 속도대 축속도비를 갖고 있고, (C) 용융스트림을 반대방향으로 흐르는 가스스트림과 접촉시켜 용융스트림을 빠르게 방사형으로 퍼지지게하는 단계, (D) 방사형으로 퍼지는 용융스트림을 발산하는 환형가스스트림과 접촉시켜 용융스트림이 비말 형태로 되게 하는 단계와, (E) 비말을 분말형태로 응고시키는 단계로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 분말 제조 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 각 속도대 축속도비가 적어도 0.6임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 각 속도대 축속도비가 적어도 2를 초과하지 않음을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 환형가스스트림이 용융스트림 질량흐름율의 0.1 내지 10배 범위의 질량흐름율을 가짐을 특징으로하는 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 분말이 1 내지 1000미크로메타범위의 평균 입자 크기를 갖고 있음을 특징으로하는 방법.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 용융물질이 금속임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 금속이 구리임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 용융물질이 세라믹임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 가스가 질소를 포함함을 특징으로하는 방법.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 가스가 헬륨을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 방법.

  15. 제14항에 있어서, 가스혼합물이 질소, 아르곤, 헬륨 및 산소로 구성되는 그룹으로부터의 두가지 또는 그 이상의 가스를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  16. 제1항에 있어서, 각 속도대 축속도비가 적어도 0.65임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  17. 제1항에 있어서, 환형가스스트림이 환형노즐을 통한 가스분사에 의해 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  18. 제1항에 있어서, 환형가스스트림이 다수의 가스 분사 포트를 통한 가스분사에 의해 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
