The present invention relates to a switching circuit for controlling the main power supply of a remote control television.
The power of the remote control TV is usually divided into main power and auxiliary power. The auxiliary power is configured to output DC voltage whenever the power cord of the device is plugged into a power outlet, and is applied to the microcomputer for low power remote control. It is used to supply power to the part that needs high power, and is configured to perform "on-off" intermittent operation of main power by the power control signal of micom which is a remote signal.
That is, in the related art, when the transistor Q 1 is driven by the main power control signal of the microcomputer as shown in FIG. 1 , the relay coil L 1 to which the auxiliary power source V 88 is applied is excited to turn on the relay switch LS. AC power was rectified through the bridge diode composed of diodes (D 1 -D 4 ) and supplied to the main power in the device through a constant voltage circuit smoothed in the capacitor (C 2 ).
Therefore, conventionally, when the main power is turned on, it is common to use a relay capable of energizing a large current as an element for "on-off", but in order to keep the relay contact point in the "on" state, the relay coil is continuously fixed. Since the current must be supplied, the power consumption is high, and the spark generated during the connection and opening of the relay contact not only degrades the characteristics during long-term use, but also causes the disadvantage that the area occupied by the relay on the PCB becomes large.
In consideration of the above, the present invention is configured to connect the mains bridge rectifier and the direct current switching unit so that the mechanical “on-off” operation of the relay can be interrupted by the DC switching unit composed of SCR. The negative SCR is connected between the bridge rectifier and the ground, and the driving part that supplies the driving current by the main power control signal of the microcomputer is connected to the gate of the SCR to interrupt the large current with the low voltage applied to the gate of the SCR and in the conduction state. The internal resistance is small, which greatly reduces the power loss.
This invention is described in detail with reference to FIG. 2 as follows.
Second, the circuit diagram of the present invention constitutes a bridge rectifier 1 for rectifying commercial AC power with diodes D 1 -D 4 to form a smoothing part 2 composed of a resistor R 9 and a capacitor C 2 . The main power is outputted through the constant voltage circuit, and the switching unit 3 intermittent the main power includes the diode D of the bridge rectifier 1 at the cathode and anode side of the SCR to which the resistor R 8 and the capacitor C 1 are connected. 1 ) (D 2 ) It is configured to be connected between the connection point and the ground, and then the output of the driver 4 is applied to the gate side of the SCR. The driver 4 is the main power control signal of the microcomputer and the resistors R 1- R 5 are The driving of the connected transistors Q 1 and Q 2 is controlled to supply a trigger current to the gate of the SCR at the collector side of the transistor Q2.
The drive unit 4 of the present invention configured as described above converts the power supply control signal voltage of the microcomputer to a voltage sufficient to trigger the SCR, since the voltage of the microcomputer is usually low. Since both (Q1) and (Q2) are blocked, the trigger current is not supplied to the gate of the SCR so that the SCR remains blocked.
Since the SCR maintains the blocking state, the current path of the bridge rectifying unit 1 is not formed, so that there is no current supply to the smoothing unit 2 side.
When the main power control signal of the microcomputer is at the H level, the transistor Q 1 connected to the resistor R 1 (R 2 ) is turned on so that the base currents of the transistor Q 2 are connected to the resistor R 4 and the transistor Q 1. ) Flows toward the collector and emitter side, so the PNP transistor (Q 2 ) also conducts to apply the trigger current to the gate of the SCR.
At this time, if the main power control signal of the microcomputer keeps the H level, the SCR "turns on" and "turns off" every 1/2 cycle due to the inversion of the AC power.
Therefore, since the bridge rectifier 1 rectifies AC power and generates a pulsating propagation voltage, when the bridge diodes D 1 -D 4 are interrupted every 1/2 cycle, the SCR is blocked even though the trigger current is supplied. With SCR it is possible to cope with both cycles of alternating current.
In other words, the charging of the capacitor (C 2), the AC voltage of the "I" when a DC voltage of a certain level is charged in the capacitor (C 2) in the case where in Fig (A), such as 3 to help input the waveform of the "I" Until the voltage rises above the level, even if a trigger signal is applied to the gate of the SCR, the potential of the SCR is higher than that of the anode, so that the SCR is kept in a blocking state and the AC voltage of " I " When the charge level of C 2 ) rises above, the diode D 4 conducts and the anode voltage of the SCR is applied through the capacitor C 2 , so that the SCR is turned on to charge the capacitor C 2 . When the AC voltage of the capacitor C 2 falls below the charge level, the diode D 4 is blocked, so the SCR is also blocked.
When the waveform of "II" as shown in FIG. 3A is input, the SCR continues to be blocked until the voltage through the diode D 3 reaches the charge level of the capacitor C 2 . Then, when the AC voltage of "II" rises above the charging level of the capacitor C 2 , the diode D 3 conducts, and in this case, the path of the resistor R 9 → capacitor C 2 → SCR → diode D 1 is applied. The capacitor C 2 is charged.
As such, while the trigger voltage is applied to the gate of the SCR, the SCR remains "turned on" during the conduction period of the rectifier diode and is "turned off" during the interruption period of the rectifier diode to supply power to the smoothing unit 2. When the control signal reaches the L level, since the trigger current of the SCR is not supplied, since the SCR is turned off after the reverse bias state between the anode side and the cathode side of the SCR, the power supply to the load side is cut off.
As described above, the present invention can reduce power consumption by using the characteristics of SCR with low power loss as the main power interrupting device of the remote control television, and can further increase reliability while taking up a small area on the board. It is effective.
