종래에도 페달레버와 클러치케이블을 걸어당기는 연결암을 관축에 분리착설하고 연결암 하단 원호부에 톱니를 형성하여 페달하측핀에 스프링으로 톱니에 결합회동할 수 있는 치합편을 탄력설치하여서 페달레버를 밟았을때 치합편이 연결암의 톱니와 치합하는 작용으로 회동하여 연결암의 후크부가 클러치케이블을 걸어당기도록 하는 것은 일본국 공개실용신안 공부 소 57-98933에 공개되어 나와있다. 이는 구조가 복잡하고 연계작동이 원할하지 못할뿐더러 치합편과 연결함 톱니의 접동마모가 심하여 이탈시의 작용이 불안전한 결함이 있었으므로 본 고안은 종래 그와같은 구조상의 결함 제거하기 위하여 클러치페달간의 선단부에 진공을 뚫고 별개 후크레버의 원공을 핀공에 맞추어 유착핀으로 후크레버가 회동될 수 있게 착설한 것에 있어서, 후크레버의 하단부를 삼각턱부로 형성하여 삼축공의 환돌편에 걸려서 회전각도를 억제할 수 있도록 구성함으로서 구조가 간단하면서도 작용이 원활하며, 조작이 가벼워 마모마손이 적고 접촉소음이 없도록 할 목적으로 착안한 것인데 이를 첨부 도면에 의거하여 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.Conventionally, the connecting lever for pulling the pedal lever and the clutch cable is separately installed on the tube shaft, and the teeth are formed in the lower arc of the connecting arm.
