진공챔버(1)의 내측에서 상·하 유동 및 회동동작이 가능한 지그(2)에 액정주입구(24)가 하측으로 위치하도록 액정셀(3)을 고정한 후, 로터리 펌프를 사용하여 진공챔버(1)의 배출공(4)으로 공기를 강제 배출시킨 다음, 진공챔버(1)내부의 진공도가 10³torr이면 진공챔버(1)의 배출공(4)을 밀폐시킨 후, 지그(2)를 하강시켜 액정실(3)에 액정용기(5)에 담겨있는 액정을 주입시키고, 일정시간 경과후 유입공(6)을 개방시켜 진공챔버(1)의 내부압력(P)을 일정한 상태로 유지시킨 다음, 액정셀(3)의 액정주입구(24)에 자이선 경화수지가 도포되어 자외선에 의해 액정주입구(24)를 봉지시키는 액정표시소자 제조방법에 있어서, 상기 진공챔버(1)의 내부압력을 700torr로 유지시킨 상태에서 유입공(6)을 밀폐시키고, 이와같은 상태에서 10-15분 방치시켜 액정셀(3)에 액정이 완전히 주입되면, 지그(2)를 회동 및 하강시켜 액정셀(3)을 액정용기(5)의 일측에 고정한 자외선 경화수지용기(7)의 자외선 경화수지에 담근 다음 액정셀(3)의 액정주입구(24)에 자외선 경화수지가 흡입된 상태에서 액정셀(3)을 진공챔버(1)의 내측 일정부위에 설치한 자외선 수광부(8)로 이동시킨후 그 자외선 수광부(8)에 자외선을 주사시켜 액정주입구(24)를 봉지함을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자의 제조방법.After fixing the liquid crystal cell 3 so that the liquid crystal inlet 24 is positioned downward in the jig 2 capable of up and down flow and rotational motions inside the vacuum chamber 1, the vacuum chamber 1 is operated using a rotary pump.
