LCD프로젝터의 프로젝션렌즈를 전, 후로 이동하여 핀트를 자동적으로 조절하는 자동포커스 시스템에 있어서, 자동 포커스 조절시에 하프미러(3)를 프로젝션렌즈(2)와 LCD(4)사이에 설치하고, LCD(4)와 하프미러(3)사이의 거리와 같은 광측에 수직인 자리에 이메지스캔너를 설치하여 프로젝션렌즈(2)와 하프미러(3)를 통해 이메지스캔너 위에 맺힌 이메지의 콘트라스트를 최대로 맞춰지도록 조절하므로써 자동포커스를 시행할 수 있도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 LCD프로젝터의 포커스 자동조정 시스템.In an autofocus system for automatically adjusting the focus by moving the projection lens of the LCD projector forward and backward, a half mirror (3) is installed between the projection lens (2) and the LCD (4) during automatic focus adjustment.
