상기와 같이 조립된 본원에 후렌지가 있는 성형물(14)을 밴딩 성형하기 위해 프레스 작업할 경우에 일단 후렌지가 있는 성형물(14)을 일직선상에 있는 밴딩다이(3)와 패드(10)의 상단부면에 삽입되어 안착시킨 상태에서 도면 제1도에 도시된 바와 같이 도면에 도시되지 않은 작동장치와 연결된 샹크(1)에 의해 상부홀더(2)와 펀치고정판(6) 펀치(5)가 함께 하강하는데 이때 성형물(14)이 안착된 페드(10)의 상단부면에 연결핀(4)에 의해 전면 끝단부가 하향되게 고정되어 있던 펀치(5)가 연결핀(4)을 중심으로 시계방향으로 회전하여 패드(10)와 수평으로 밀착되어 있는 상태에서 도면 제2도에 도시된 바와 같이 펀치(5)가 페드(10)를 계속밀면서 하강함과 동시에 패드(10)도 탄력스프링(13)이 압축되면서 하강하게 되는데 이때 밴딩다이(8)와 패드(10)의 상단부에 일직선상으로 안착되어 있는 성형물(14)을 펀치(5)가 하강하면서 페드(10)와 동시에 누르게 되며 또한 성형물(14)이 밴딩다이(8) 측면에 밀착되면서 펀치(5)의 전면 끝단부가 눌러주어 밴딩성형이 되고 일단성형물(14)을 밴딩성형시킨 다음 도면 제3도에 도시된 바와 같이 샹크(1)에 의해 상부홀더(2), 펀치고정판(6), 펀치(5)가 상승함과 동시에 펀치(5)가 페드(10)와 떨어지면서 펀치(5)의 자중에 의해 벌어진 만큼 오므라들게 되므로 밴딩성형된 성형물(14)의 취출이 편리하게 되어 있을 뿐만 아니라 패드(10)는 탄력스프링(13)에 의해 원래 상태로 되돌아가고 또한 스톱퍼(12)에 의해 패드(10)가 일정한 높이만큼만 움직일 수 있게 되어진 것으로 본원은 작업공수가 줄어들고 작업시간도 단축시킬뿐만 아니라 생산성도 향상되게 된 것이다.The upper end surface of the banding die 3 and the pad 10 in which the flange 14 has a straight line when the press 14 is press-formed to band-form the flange 14 to be assembled as described above.
