The present invention relates to a method for producing inorganic fibers, such as glass fibers, rock wool fibers, ceramic fibers, alumina fibers, etc. In more detail, the inorganic fibers that can be used for the purpose of thermal insulation and insulation at a high temperature of 1000 ℃ or more among inorganic fibers It is to provide a method and apparatus suitable for manufacturing.
Inorganic fibers, such as glass fibers, rock wool fibers, ceramic fibers, and alumina fibers, are useful for thermal insulation and thermal insulation, but their use is limited because of the limited temperature due to physical properties such as melting point. have. In other words, glass fiber is mainly used at a temperature below 300 ℃ and is widely used as a building insulation material, whereas rock wool hemp oil is usually used to insulate and insulate up to 600 ℃, and in special cases, it can be used up to 1000 ℃ but mainly at a temperature above 1000 ℃. Fiber is used, and alumina fiber is used at the temperature of 1500 degreeC or more.
These inorganic fibers are melted in an electric furnace, such as Cpuola or Pochet, and then dropped into a rotating disk with a small amount of outflow, allowing the melt to disperse into fibrous form or to cool down as the melt flows out. It is manufactured by using a spinning method in which steam or air is injected into the fibrous form in a direction perpendicular to the flow of the stem.
However, in the case of inorganic fibers such as high temperature inorganic fibers, for example, ceramic fibers, many problems appear in the manufacturing process. In other words, when manufacturing inorganic fibers for high temperature, when the electrode rod melts raw materials in an electric furnace in which the electrode protrudes from the bottom and flows out through the bushing, the bushing is spouted with a needle or a cane. As the temperature of the melt is adjusted by adjusting the hole, when the temperature of the melt is about 2000 ° C to 2500 ° C, the needle or the cane is worn out or the hole of the bushing is worn out, which makes it difficult to work for a long time and is fixed to the bottom of the electrode rod furnace. It is difficult to change the state of the melt. In addition, even when the molten material flows out into a fibrous form, steam or air is injected in a direction perpendicular to the flowing side of the molten material, so that the contact between the molten material and the air and cooling accordingly become inconsistent, so that the physical properties such as the thickness of the fiber become constant. I could not get good fiber.
The present invention has been studied to improve the above-described drawbacks of the conventional method, the electrode rod can be attached to or detached from the top of the furnace to move or remove the state of the melt is easy to change the viscosity of the melt eluted by heating the spout of the bushing The present invention has been found that the thickness and length of the fiber can be adjusted by controlling the pressure, and the defects of the aforementioned conventional method can be improved by spraying the stem of the melt melted in the same direction as the melt flow with high pressure and high velocity air. Will be completed.
According to the present invention, by attaching the electrode to the top of the side wall of the furnace, it is possible to change the position of the heating end of the electrode inserted into the furnace, and at the same time can be easily detached when necessary, so that the amount of melt during the temporary heating stop of the electric furnace It can reduce the loss of raw materials, and when the operation is stopped, the electrode can be taken out of the furnace and can be used again to reuse the expensive electrode.
The viscosity of the molten material passing through the hot water outlet by controlling the temperature of the hot water outlet part by controlling the current flowing through the bushing by connecting the single-phase power supply to the hot water outlet part of the bushing so that the hot water outlet part of the bushing can be heated by electricity. By controlling the amount of the tapping amount and the thickness of the flowing melt stem is controlled to suppress the wear phenomenon of the tap spout appearing when using a conventional needle or kane and at the same time it is possible to simply adjust the thickness and length of the fiber.
Furthermore, according to the present invention, when the molten material is fiberized, the supersonic speed of 340 m / s or more, in particular about 624 m / s, is such that high pressure air flows in the same direction with respect to the melt stem while allowing the molten material to pass through the venturi-type passageway. By blowing into the melt, the melt becomes fine fibers, and evenly contacting the blowing air around the melt stem to obtain a uniform cooling effect, resulting in a uniform fiber.
Inorganic fiber manufacturing method according to the present invention is a process for melting the raw material with the electrode rod installed above the bushing by pouring the raw material in the molten furnace, by controlling the temperature of the spout hole formed in the bushing through the current in the bushing to control the amount of spout Process, the discharge of the discharged molten material in the inert atmosphere to the dewatering device, the high pressure air in the same direction with respect to the flow of the molten material around the molten material while passing the molten material through the venturi-type passage, in particular 624m / It is composed of a process of feeding and feeding the fibers to the nozzle of the spinning machine so as to be sprayed at a supersonic speed of about s, and connecting the fibers.
In addition, the apparatus according to the present invention is attached to the end of the melting furnace, the coolant jacket is installed on the outside, the electrode rod is installed inclined in the center of the melting furnace, the coolant jacket is installed on the bottom of the melting furnace, the inert gas jacket and the outer periphery An orifice with a bushing in which a coolant jacket is installed to allow inert gas to flow inwards, and a spout hole attached to the top thereof, a venturi-type passage is formed in the center, and air flows around the neck of the venturi-type passage. It consists of a tumbler consisting of a blowing nozzle with an air inlet adapted to blow in the same direction and a trumpet-shaped discharge conduit mounted under the blowing nozzle.
Hereinafter, the method and apparatus of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
1 is a conventional apparatus similar to the present invention, in which a
2 is a view illustrating the apparatus according to the present invention, in which the
3 is a detailed view showing the configuration of the
Electrode 13 is attached to the end of the
According to the present invention, the
The orifice 14 attached to the upper end of the
However, it is particularly useful to reinforce with a
The islanding device 18 installed below the
The flow rate of the air injected into the above-described barburi-
Conical
The method of the present invention using such a device will be described in detail. When the inorganic fiber raw material is crushed to about 150-250 mesh and put into the melting
The molten raw material flows into the bushing through the orifice's pouring
The molten material passing through the bushing is supplied to the venturi-type passage of the island-operating system. At this time, the high-pressure air is supplied at a supersonic speed of 340m / s or more, especially 624m / s, at the neck of the venturi-type passage. Blowing in the same direction with respect to the stem, the molten material with a temperature of 2000 ° C. or more is cooled to room temperature while being fibrous within 1 micron second, and the fiber becomes fine due to the low pressure passing through the neck portion of the venturi-type passageway. When the high pressure air is blown at a high speed from above, uniform cooling is achieved at the same time as the fiber, thereby obtaining high quality fibers with uniform physical properties. The fibrous inorganic fibers are dropped onto the conveying conveyor through the cylindrical conduit and conveyed.
According to the apparatus of the present invention as described above, the amount of molten material passing through the orifice can be adjusted by the change in viscosity according to the temperature change of the orifice heated by electricity. It is possible to easily control the amount of melted water that is difficult to control, and to use the special metals such as tungsten and iridium rhenium in the holes of the orifices to prevent wear of the orifices and increase their lifespan. In addition, since the electrode rod installed in the melting furnace is installed on the top of the melting furnace, the leakage of molten material from the bottom of the melting furnace, which occurs when the electrode is installed on the bottom, does not appear and the position of the electrode can be moved or removed. It is easy to change the condition and if there is an abnormality in the electrode, it can be easily fixed without discharging the melt, and the thickness and length of the fiber can be adjusted by adjusting the amount and temperature of the melt, and when the melt passes through the orifice and into the bushing Since the inert gas prevents oxidation of the hot melt, it is possible to prevent deterioration of the fiber.
And the islanding device has a venturi-type passage and supplies a high-pressure air to be injected at a supersonic speed to the venturi-type passage so that the molten material is instantaneously fiberized and cooled to obtain fine homogeneous fibers.
The present invention is particularly suitable for the production of inorganic fibers for high temperature insulation and thermal insulation, but can also be used for the production of inorganic fibers used in conventional applications such as glass fibers and rock wool fibers.
