Abstract
The present invention relates to a contact pressure and gas concentration sensing device.
A contact pressure sensing device according to the present invention comprises: a frame for generating displacement according to a contact pressure from the outside; at least one light source irradiating light to the frame; and at least one photosensor that detects light reflected from the light source by hitting the frame and correspondingly reflected according to the displacement of the frame. By detecting the reflected light of the light, the contact pressure according to the displacement of the frame is sensed.
According to the present invention as described above, by detecting the displacement of an object by light irradiation and light sensing, it is possible to detect a small displacement, and thus can be used as a high-sensitivity sensor, and has a simple structure of a light source and an optical sensor. It is possible to reduce the size of the device, and accordingly, it can be easily applied to a small electronic device as a single switch means.
Description
The present invention relates to a contact pressure and gas concentration sensing device, and more particularly, a contact pressure and gas concentration capable of detecting the contact pressure of a frame and the concentration of a specific gas permeated into an electronic device using light irradiation and light sensing. It relates to the sensing device.
In general, an electronic device or a component thereof includes a switch for user control. For such a switch, it is necessary to minimize the switch shape for aesthetic satisfaction as well as functionality and convenience of use, and therefore it may be necessary to utilize the frame itself as a switch. When a force (pressure) is applied to a strong frame, the displacement is small and it is difficult to measure with a general sensor. Therefore, a high-sensitivity pressure (force) sensor capable of measuring small displacement and reducing the size is required.
On the other hand, Korean Patent Application Laid-Open No. 10-2019-0032124 (Patent Document 1) discloses a "force touch sensor using a strain gauge", and the force touch sensor using a strain gauge according to this is a touch in a state of constant repression. A touch plate that can be elastically deformed by; a strain gauge attached to and interlocking with the touch plate; and a control unit that detects a minute displacement of the touch plate from the strain gauge and recognizes it as a user's touch.
In the case of Patent Document 1 as described above, it can be easily applied to various structures to which strain gauges are attached, and by fusion of touch algorithms, it is possible to replace existing touch methods or to compensate for shortcomings, improve functions and diversify application fields. I do not know if there is this, but since it is based on a touch plate that can be elastically deformed by touch in a state of constant pressure, a relatively large displacement is required to detect a touch according to a force applied from the outside, and the overall size of the sensor is large. It has a problem that it is difficult to apply to small electronic devices.

Here, before describing the embodiment of the present invention, "contact pressure sensing device and electronic device" previously filed by the same applicant as the applicant of the present application (application number: 10-2019-0150792, filing date: 2019. 11. 21. Hereinafter referred to as 'pre-application invention'), let's first take a brief look at it.
The pressure sensing device according to the present invention includes a frame having a magnetic field at least in part; and a magnetic sensor for sensing the strength of a magnetic field that changes as the frame is deformed by pressure. The pressure sensing device of the present invention as described above is a mechanism for sensing the pressure applied to the frame by detecting a change in the magnetic field, whereas the contact pressure and gas concentration sensing device of the present embodiment irradiates light to the displacement portion of the frame, and the displacement of the frame It is different in that it is a mechanism for detecting the pressure applied to the frame or measuring the concentration of gas that has penetrated inside the electronic device by detecting the change in the position of the maximum power of the reflected light according to the
1 is a diagram schematically showing the configuration of a contact pressure sensing device according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 1 , a contact
외부로부터의 접촉 압력에 따라 변위를 발생하는 프레임(예를 들면, 전자기기의 프레임)(160)과; 그 프레임(160)에 광을 조사하는 적어도 하나의 광원(110); 및 상기 광원(110)으로부터 조사된 광이 상기 프레임(160)에 부딪쳐 프레임의 변위에 따라 대응하여 반사하는 광을 감지하는 적어도 하나의 광센서(120)를 포함하여 구성된다.a frame (eg, a frame of an electronic device) 160 that generates displacement according to a contact pressure from the outside; at least one
As described above, the contact

In addition, the
In this case, the
In addition, the

Here, as described above, the

In addition, as shown in FIG. 5 , the
The

Referring to FIG. 6 , the contact pressure and gas
The contact pressure and gas
Here, an LED or a semiconductor laser may be used as the
In this case, the semiconductor laser may be a vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL). In addition, when the
In addition, as shown in FIG. 6 , the sensing light path L S , which is the reflected light path, includes a pressure sensing light path and a gas sensing light path, wherein the pressure sensing light path and the gas sensing light path are the
In addition, between the
In addition, as shown in FIG. 7 , the sensing light path L S , which is the reflected light path, is composed of a pressure sensing light path and a gas sensing light path, and the pressure sensing light path is on the inner surface of the
In this case, it may be configured to sense the light of the pressure sensing light path and the light of the gas sensing light path by one optical sensor.
At this time, as also shown in FIG. 8, the light of the pressure sensing light path and the light of the gas sensing light path are respectively detected by the pressure sensing
In this case, the gas sensing
Then, in the following, the operating gas (eg, CO 2 , formaldehyde, etc.) that has penetrated into the electronic device is sensed using the difference between the reference light path (L R ) and the sensing light path (LS S ). This will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 6 and 9 .
Referring to FIG. 6 , when the length of the reference path is L R , the length of the sensing signal path is L S , and the total angle between the incident light and the reflected light for the
In addition, when the light intensity of the reference path is IR , and the light intensity of the sensing signal path is I S , IR and IS can be expressed as the following equation by the Beer-Lambert law. have.
Here, I 0 is the intensity of the initial emission beam, α is the absorption coefficient, L R is the length of the reference path, L S is the length of the sensing signal path, and C is the gas concentration.
In addition, IR and IS as described above can be arranged as follows.
Here, L S = 2*L R Assuming that
ln(IR/IS) = C *α* LR ln(I R /I S ) = C *α* L R
That is, it can be seen that I R /I S (current ratio)∝C (gas concentration).
Through this, the concentration of the gas (eg, CO 2 , formaldehyde, etc.) penetrating into the electronic device is measured using the difference between the reference light path (L R ) and the sensing light path ( LS ).
9 shows the relationship between the intensity of light emitted from the light source and the distance, and the relationship between the photosensor and the gas concentration, (A) is the relationship between the initial emission beam intensity and the distance, (B) is the reference path and sensing The relationship between the output of the optical sensor with respect to the path and the gas concentration, (C) is a graph showing the normalized ratio of the sensing (signal) path optical sensor output to the output of the reference path optical sensor, respectively.
As described above, the contact pressure and gas concentration sensing device according to the present invention senses the displacement of an object by light irradiation and light sensing, thereby detecting a small displacement, and thus has the advantage of being used as a high-sensitivity sensor. .
In addition, since the light source and the optical sensor have a simple structure, the size of the sensing device can be miniaturized, and accordingly, there is an advantage that it can be easily applied to small electronic devices as a single switch means.
In addition, by detecting the concentration of a specific gas that has penetrated into the electronic device by light irradiation and light sensing, it is possible to measure the concentration of a harmful gas (formaldehyde, etc.) in a specific work space or place, and, accordingly, the harmful gas There is an effect that can prevent the occurrence of safety accidents due to exposure to in advance.
