Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a refrigerator, and more particularly to a refrigerator having a heater for preventing dew formation.
A refrigerator is a device that prevents decay and deterioration by cooling an object to be cooled (hereinafter referred to as a food) such as food, medicine, cosmetics, or at a low temperature.
The refrigerator includes a storage compartment in which food is stored and a cooling device for cooling the storage compartment.
The cooling device may include a compressor, a condenser, an expansion device, and an evaporator through which the refrigerant is circulated. The cooling device cools the storage compartment by using cold air generated by heat exchange with a refrigerant circulating in a refrigeration cycle. Therefore, the inside of the refrigerator compartment is usually maintained at a lower temperature than the outside.
The storage compartment is provided inside a cabinet constituting the refrigerator cabinet and is selectively opened and closed by a door. Since the temperature inside the storage compartment is lower than the temperature of the outside air, dew may occur due to a difference in temperature between the inside and the outside of the refrigerator near a part where the door contacts the front of the cabinet.
The refrigerator may include a heater at a position where dew is likely to occur so as to cause dew formation. This, the heater to prevent dew condensation can minimize the generation of dew through heat generation.
Specifically, the heater may include a heater resistance through which a current flows, and may control the amount of heat generated by controlling the current flowing through the heater resistance according to the outside temperature and humidity and the temperature inside the refrigerator.
On the other hand, the heater resistance may be manufactured to have a resistance value different from the intended resistance value in the manufacturing process. For example, an error may occur in the heater resistance value as the number of windings, length, etc. of the wires are manufactured differently from the design intention when the heater is manufactured.
In this case, a problem may occur in that the amount of heat generated during operation of the heater is greater than the intended value of the generated heat. Alternatively, dew condensation may occur due to the amount of heat generated during operation of the heater to be less than the intended value of heat generated.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a refrigerator including a heater unit which minimizes dew formation and minimizes power consumption even when a heater resistance is manufactured or installed differently from a design intention.

And a heater unit having a heater resistance, a power supply unit supplying power to the heater resistor, and a first switch connected between the heater resistor and the power supply unit, and an operation rate of the heater unit based on the outside temperature, the outside humidity and the inside temperature. And a heater voltage sensing unit configured to control the first switch according to the operation rate, and detect a heater voltage applied to the heater resistance, wherein the controller compares the sensed heater voltage with a reference voltage, The operation rate can be adjusted based on the comparison result.

It may include a capacitor connected in parallel with.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, by adjusting the operation rate of the heater unit by reflecting the actual resistance value of the heater resistance, it is possible to accurately calculate the heating time of the heater unit for minimizing dew condensation, thereby minimizing dew condensation and preventing dew condensation. There is an advantage that can consume only as much power as necessary.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, by adding a simple element such as a DC power supply, a distribution resistor, a switch and a capacitor, it is possible to indirectly obtain the actual resistance value of the heater resistance, thereby minimizing an increase in manufacturing cost or an increase in volume. .
According to an embodiment of the present invention, by including a distribution resistor having a smaller resistance value than the heater resistance, the error rate of the heater resistance can be calculated more accurately, and thus, the operation rate can be more precisely adjusted.

For example, when the set time is 600 seconds, when the time when the

The table shown in FIG. 6 is an example of a table that maps an operation rate according to an outside temperature and an external humidity when the internal temperature of the storage compartment belongs to the second internal temperature range, and the internal temperature of the storage compartment is the first internal temperature region or the third temperature range. The table indicating the operation rate when belonging to the internal temperature range may be different from FIG. 6, and the
The
For example, the
That is, the refrigerator controls the on time of the
Meanwhile, the table illustrated in FIG. 6 may be a table representing an optimal operation rate for minimizing the occurrence of dew when the
However, in some cases, the resistance value of the
Therefore, the refrigerator according to the embodiment of the present invention is to solve the above problem by determining the operation rate based on the table and then adjusting the operation rate determined according to the resistance value of the
FIG. 7 is a circuit diagram of a heater unit and a heater voltage detector according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 8 is a control block diagram illustrating a method of operating a refrigerator including a heater unit and a heater voltage detector according to an embodiment of the present invention. 9 is a flowchart illustrating a method of operating a refrigerator including a heater unit and a heater voltage detector according to an embodiment of the present invention.
The refrigerator according to the embodiment of the present invention may further include a
That is, the refrigerator according to the embodiment of the present invention, the outside air sensor, the storage
The heater
For example, the DC
The
For example, the
One end of the
The
When the
Referring to FIG. 9, a method of minimizing dew condensation by reflecting an actual resistance value of a heater resistance in a refrigerator according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention will be described.
(S11).The
(S12).The
The measurement mode may be a mode that operates to measure difference information between the resistance value of the
(S13).The
The voltage applied by the DC
(S15).The
Here, the reference voltage may be an abnormal voltage that is expected to be detected by the
(S17).The
If the heater voltage is less than the reference voltage, the
Here, reducing the operation rate means reducing the ratio of the time that the
As a specific example, the reference voltage stored in the
(S19).The
The
(S21).When the preset time has elapsed, the
Here, the dew removal mode may be an operation mode for heating the
The
The
For example, when the operation rate is adjusted to 25%, the
As described above, the refrigerator according to the embodiment of the present invention reflects not only environmental information such as outside temperature, outside air humidity and internal temperature, but also an error generated during the manufacturing (installation) of the
