Abstract

According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a compressor in which a valve plate is mounted on an upper end of a cylinder and a sealing is mounted on a protruding unit of the cylinder, on which the valve plate is mounted. To this end, the compressor comprises: a cylinder having a compressing space; a piston varying a volume of the compressing space; a motor assembly allowing the piston to reciprocate linearly; a discharge cover having a discharge space therein; a discharge valve assembly; and a valve spring.
