수박 과피 착즙액의 피부미용제품으로의 이용 가능성을 확인하기 위하여 상기 실시예 1에서 제조한 수박 과피 착즙액 동결건조물의 항산화 활성을 통상의 ORAC(활성산소흡수력) 분석법을 통해 확인하였다. 비교를 위해 상기 실시예 1에서 제조한 수박 과육 착즙액 동결건조물(대조군)도 함께 사용하였다.The antioxidant activity of the lyophilized product of the watermelon skin juice prepared in Example 1 was confirmed by a conventional ORAC (active oxygen absorption capacity) analysis method in order to confirm the availability of the watermelon juice extract as a skin cosmetic product. 상기 실시예 2에서 제조한 각 마스크팩 샘플의 사용 만족도를 조사하였다.The use satisfaction of each mask pack sample prepared in Example 2 was examined.
연구대상자는 20대 여대생(만 19세 ~ 24세)으로, 실험은 총 3주간 실시하였다. 피험자를 대상으로 본 연구의 목적, 실험 방법, 내용 등을 설명하고 자발적으로 동의한 학생을 대상자로 선정하였다. 실험부위에 감염성 질환, 아토피 피부염, 최근 3개월 이내에 피부염으로 약물치료를 한 경우와 현재 피부 치료 중인 자는 제외하였다. 연구에 참여한 대상자는 총 20명(마스크팩 10명, 수분크림 10명)이었다. 시험 제품 사용 중에 발생한 이상 피부증상에 대해서는 즉시 연구자에게 보고하도록 지도하고 연락처를 알려 주었으며, 매주 이상 반응 유무에 대해 체크하였다. 마스크팩은 주 1회 안면부에, 수분크림의 피험자들에게 양 팔꿈치 내측, 중앙, 외측에 아침, 저녁으로 하루 두 번씩 크림제를 바르도록 하였다. 실험 이전과 비교하여 실험 후 만족도에 관한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사에 사용한 설문지의 내용은 아래와 같고, 각 항목에 대해 전혀 그렇지 않다(1), 그렇지 않다(2), 보통이다(3), 그렇다(4), 매우 그렇다(5)에서 선택하여 평가하도록 하였다.The subjects of the study were twenties (19 ~ 24years old), and the experiment was conducted for 3 weeks in total.
