자발적으로 참여한 평균연령 42.45 ± 4.30세인 22명의 여성 피시험자를 대상으로 인체 적용 시험을 실시하였다. 피시험자의 안면 부위를 반으로 나누어 한쪽 부위는 시험 제품을 다른 쪽 부위는 대조 제품을 아침저녁 2회 세안 후 4주 동안 도포하게 하였다. 모든 시험은 항온항습(온도 22 ± 2℃, 상대습도 50 ± 5%) 조건에서 실시하였으며 LG 생활건강 기술연구원 기관 생명윤리위원회(제1-125939-A-N-01호)의 승인을 득한 후 시험 제품과 대조 제품의 폐쇄첩포(Occlusive patchtest)를 시행하여 피부 부작용이 없는 안전한 제품임을 확인한 후 인체적용 시험을 실시하였다. 모든 측정은 입가를 기준으로 2 cm 되는 지점을 평가하였으며 동일 부위 측정을 위해 표시지에 표시를 한 후 측정하였다.Twenty - two female subjects voluntarily participated in this study were 42.45 ± 4.30 years old. 피부결에 존재하는 스타 형상은 피부 영상 시스템인 Aphrodite-1 (PIE Co., Ltd, 한국)를 이용하여 안면 부위에서 직접 사진을 찍은 영상과 Visiometer Silicone Compound (Courage + Khazaka, Cologne, Germany)를 이용하여 제작한 모사판(replica) 영상을 획득한다. 스타 형상이란 1차 라인(primary lines)과 2차 라인(secondary lines)이 교차하여 형성된다. 따라서 육안평가 기준은 교차되는 지점에서 방사형으로 뻗은 선이 7개 이상이면 등급 5이며 5점, 7 미만 5 이상이면 등급 4에 4점, 교차선이 5 미만 3 이상이면 등급 3에 3점, 3 미만 2 이상이면 등급 2에 2점으로 점수를 부여하였다(도 1). 2명의 전문가에 의해 사진과 모사판 영상에 대한 스타 형상을 육안 평가하여 각 단계에 해당하는 스타 형상의 개수에 단계별 점수를 곱하여 총합을 구한 후 총 스타 형상 개수로 나눈 값을 각 전문가에 의한 측정값으로 하였다(수학식 1). 2명의 측정값을 평균하여 피시험자별 스타 형상 측정값으로 사용하였다.The star shape present in the skin texture was visualized by direct imaging of the facial area using the Aphrodite-1 skin imaging system (PIE Co., Ltd, Korea) and Visiometer Silicone Compound (Courage + Khazaka, Cologne, Germany) Obtained replica images.
