Description
The present invention relates to an air purifier of a double suction structure for sucking air from both sides.
An ordinary air cleaner has an air inlet in a housing forming an outer appearance, and an air purification filter and various functional filters are provided in an inner space of the housing. In addition, it is an apparatus for purifying indoor air by sucking indoor air and dust through the air inlet, and then removing contaminants and dust from the sucked air.
The air cleaner is configured to suck air through a blower provided inside the housing. The blower is a mechanical device that causes the air to flow. It is used in air purifiers, electric fans, etc. at home, and is used industrially in air conditioning systems, various intake and exhaust systems, and the like.
Such a blower may be classified into an axial flow type blower, a centrifugal type blower, a mixed flow type blower, and the like depending on the characteristics of the flow passing through the impeller. Among them, there is a single suction structure in which a suction flow is generated from one side of a rotary shaft and a double suction structure in which a suction flow is generated from both sides of the rotary shaft, in an air cleaner having a centrifugal blower widely used for household use.
The air purifier having a double suction structure is provided with air intake ports on both sides of the housing and is configured to purge the air sucked through the air intake port and to discharge the air in various directions so that the air purifying efficiency is superior to that of the single suction structure .
The filter of the air purifier of the double suction structure is generally disposed on both sides of the housing in consideration of the flow of air. That is, since the filter is arranged on both sides of the housing in correspondence with the air inlet provided on both sides of the housing, the design form of the product is generally cube-shaped.
Therefore, it is difficult to apply various designs to the air purifier, which results in a problem that the design of the product is limited.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide an air cleaner of a double suction structure capable of reflecting various designs.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an air flow path which is optimized in the interior of the housing, thereby increasing air purification efficiency.
The present invention provides an air purifier of both suction structure.
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a double-suction structure air purifier comprising: a housing; a driving unit installed in the housing and sucking outside air; And a filter unit installed in the housing, the filter unit including at least one bent portion.
Preferably, the filter unit may be provided with a filter member arranged to form a hollow portion inside the housing.
