Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention [0001] The present invention relates to an oil skimmer for a machine tool,

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention [0001] The present invention relates to an oil skimmer of a machine tool, and more particularly, to an oil skimmer that filters oil used in a machine tool.

Generally, a machine tool can process a material by using cutting oil, lubricating oil, cooling water, and the like. Coolant, lubricant, cooling water, etc. can be classified using oil skimmers.

According to the related art, the oil skimmer may have a structure for filtering the oil using a motor-driven belt. The motor drive system can complicate the structure of the oil skimmer. In addition, since the oil is moved on the belt, there is a disadvantage that the filtration speed is slow.

The present invention provides an oil skimmer of a machine tool having a simple structure and a high filtration speed.

The oil skimmer of the machine tool according to one aspect of the present invention may include a first suction pipe, a first suction pipe, a compressed air supply, a first tank and a second tank. The first suction pipe may have a lower end connected to the oil passage of the machine tool. The second suction pipe may be connected to the upper end of the first suction pipe. The compressed air supply section may supply compressed air to the second suction pipe to suck the oil in the oil passage through the first suction pipe to the second suction pipe. The first tank is connected to the second suction pipe, and the oil having a high specific gravity can be collected in the oil sucked into the second suction pipe. The second tank is connected to the first tank so that oil having a low specific gravity can be collected.

In exemplary embodiments, the second suction pipe may include a venturi tube having at least one orifice portion.

In exemplary embodiments, the top of the first suction pipe may be connected to the orifice portion.

In exemplary embodiments, the second suction pipe may be arranged horizontally.

In exemplary embodiments, the second tank may be disposed below the first tank.

In exemplary embodiments, the oil skimmer may further include a connection pipe disposed obliquely between the first tank and the second tank, through which the low specific gravity oil flows.

The oil skimmer of the machine tool according to another aspect of the present invention may include a suction pipe, a venturi pipe, a compressed air supply, a first tank, a connecting pipe and a second tank. The suction pipe may have a lower end connected to the oil passage of the machine tool, and a vertically extending upper end from the lower end. The venturi tube is connected to the upper end of the suction pipe and may have at least one orifice portion. The compressed air supply section may supply compressed air to the venturi pipe to suck the oil in the oil passage through the suction pipe to the venturi pipe. The first tank is connected to the venturi tube so that the heavy oil in the oil sucked into the venturi tube can be collected. The connection pipe extends obliquely downward from the first tank so that oil having a low specific gravity can flow through the connection pipe. The second tank is connected to the connection pipe so that the low specific gravity oil can be collected.

In exemplary embodiments, the top of the first suction pipe may be connected to the orifice portion of the venturi tube.

According to the present invention described above, the compressed air is supplied to the venturi pipe, so that the oil can be sucked into the venturi pipe through the suction pipe. Therefore, the oil skimmer can have a simple structure by excluding the use of the motor. Further, since the oil is sucked by the pressure difference, the oil skimmer can have a fast oil filtration speed.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an oil skimmer of a machine tool according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a sectional view showing the oil skimmer of FIG.

1 and 2, the oil skimmer 100 of the machine tool according to the present embodiment includes a first suction pipe 110, a second suction pipe 120, a compressed air supply unit 130, a first tank 140, A connection pipe 150, and a second tank 160. As shown in FIG.

In the present embodiment, the machine tool may include a lathe, a milling machine, a boring machine, a drilling machine, and the like. However, the types of machine tools to which the oil skimmer 100 of the present embodiment is applied are not limited to the types described above. The machine tool may have an oil passage (P) through which cutting oil, lubricating oil, cooling water, etc. flow.

The first suction pipe 110 may be vertically disposed on the upper portion of the oil passage P. [ The first suction pipe 110 may have a lower end and an upper end. The lower end of the first suction pipe 110 may be disposed in the oil passage P. [ In particular, the lower end of the first suction pipe 110 may be immersed in the oil in the oil passage P. [

The second suction pipe 120 may be disposed along a horizontal direction that is parallel to the oil passage P. [ Both ends of the second suction pipe 120 can be opened. The lower left end of the second suction pipe 120 may have a vertically curved shape. The second suction pipe 120 may be connected to the upper end of the first suction pipe 110. In this embodiment, the second suction pipe 120 may include a venturi tube having one orifice portion 122. The upper end of the first suction pipe 110 may be connected to the orifice portion 122 of the venturi pipe 120.

The compressed air supply 130 may be connected to the right end of the second suction pipe 120. The compressed air supply unit 130 may supply the compressed air into the second suction pipe 120 toward the left end of the second suction pipe 120. When the compressed air is supplied into the second suction pipe 120, the pressure in the orifice portion 122 of the second suction pipe 120 may be lower than the oil passage P. Accordingly, the oil in the oil passage P can be sucked into the second suction pipe 120 through the first suction pipe 110. [ The suction amount of the oil can be appropriately set by adjusting the speed of the compressed air and / or adjusting the diameters of the first suction pipe 110 and the second suction pipe 120.

The first tank 140 may be connected to the lower left end of the second suction pipe 120. The oil in the oil passage P can be collected in the first tank 140 via the first suction pipe 110 and the second suction pipe 120. [ The oil having a high specific gravity in the oil, for example, cutting oil, cooling water, etc., may be located in the lower portion of the first tank 140. On the other hand, the low specific gravity oil may be located in the upper portion of the first tank 140. Due to the difference in specific gravity of the oil, the oil can be classified in the first tank 140.

The connection pipe 150 may extend obliquely downward from the upper end of the first tank 140. Therefore, oil having a low specific gravity can flow from the first tank 140 to the connection pipe 150. On the other hand, the oil having a high specific gravity can stay in the first tank 140 continuously.

The second tank 160 may be disposed at the lower end of the connection pipe 150. Accordingly, the second tank 160 can be positioned below the first tank 140. Only oil having a low specific gravity flowing along the connection pipe 150 can be collected in the second tank 160.

According to this embodiment, by supplying the compressed air to the second suction pipe, the oil can be sucked into the second suction pipe through one first suction pipe. Therefore, the oil skimmer can have a simple structure by excluding the use of the motor. Further, since the oil is sucked by the pressure difference, the oil skimmer can have a fast oil filtration speed.

As described above, according to the present embodiment, the compressed air is supplied to the venturi pipe, so that the oil can be sucked into the venturi pipe through the suction pipe. Therefore, the oil skimmer can have a simple structure by excluding the use of the motor. Further, since the oil is sucked by the pressure difference, the oil skimmer can have a fast oil filtration speed.
