Description

{COVER FLANGE USED FOR SETTING PIPE}

The present invention relates to a cover flange for pipe installation.

The offshore production facilities installed on ships and offshore platforms are equipped with various pipes for oil well sampling, discharge of gravel and sand, and seawater (cooling water) inflow.

For example, in the case of a caisson pipe installed in FPSO (Floating, Production, Storage and Off-loading) or a cutting discharge pipe installed in a drill ship, ) To the bottom of the hull is installed vertically. At this time, the total length of the pipe is approximately 20 to 25 meters, and the weight is approximately 3 to 20 tons.

When these pipes are connected together in a single piece, the technical difficulties and workload are not only considerable, but also the pipe installation work can be very inefficient as the pipe height increases and the risk increases. Therefore, it is preferable to combine several pipes in advance into one assembly pipe, and install them in the hull.

However, it is very difficult to lift a heavy assembly pipe using a lifting device such as a crane, and lift the pipe to mount the pipe on the hull. In Korean Unexamined Utility Model Publication No. 20-2015-0000802 (published on Feb. 25, 2015), a method of fastening and fastening a fastening means directly to a bolting hole formed in a flange of a pipe has been proposed. However, It is not suitable for moving the pipe in the vertical direction.

The cover is coupled to a flange formed on the upper end of the pipe to cover an open portion of the upper portion of the pipe, a coupling hole corresponding to the bolt hole of the flange is formed at a peripheral portion, To the flange.

The lug is provided in a triangular shape, and the fastening hole can be formed at the center of the lug with reference to the center line of the lug.

A bracket may be formed on both sides of the lug to connect the lug and the top of the cover in a diagonal direction so as to correspond to a force acting on the lug when the pipe is lifted up in a vertical direction.

The lugs may be symmetrically formed in pairs at the top of the cover.

The cover flange for pipe installation according to the embodiment of the present invention allows the pipe to be easily raised and lifted, so that the pipe installation work can be efficiently performed.

The effects of the present invention are not limited to the effects mentioned above, and other effects not mentioned can be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description of the claims.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. The embodiments described below are provided by way of example so that those skilled in the art will be able to fully understand the spirit of the present invention. The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described below but may be embodied in other forms. In order to clearly explain the present invention, parts not related to the description are omitted in the drawings, and the width, length, thickness, etc. of the components may be exaggerated for convenience. Like reference numerals designate like elements throughout the specification.

Referring to FIG. 1, a pipe-mounting cover flange 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention may be usefully used when installing a large-sized pipe vertically. For example, the cover flange 100 may be used when installing the assembly pipe 200 vertically from the upper deck 2 to the ship bottom 4 of the ship.

A lifting device such as a crane is vertically lifted by placing a fastening means (for example, a key ring) on a fastening hole H2 of the cover flange 100 (see FIG. 3) . At this time, the lower pipe 211 may be installed in the ship bottom 4 before the assembly pipe 200 is installed, and the assembly pipe 200 may be installed in a dock where a crane can be used. The assembly pipe 200 is welded to the lower pipe 211.

After the installation work of the assembly pipe 200 is completed, the cover flange 100 can be disengaged from the assembly pipe 200 with the fastening means of the lifting device loosened.

The assembly pipe 200 may include, for example, a caisson pipe installed in FPSO (Floating, Production, Storage and Off-loading), a discharge pipe installed in a drill ship, etc. Hereinafter, a caisson pipe will be described as an example. Caisson pipes can be used for seawater inflow.

As shown in FIG. 2, the assembly pipe 200 may be in the form of a plurality of pipes 201 to 203 joined together by butt welding.

Although FIGS. 1 and 2 illustrate the assembly pipe 200 having three pipes 201 to 203 connected thereto for the sake of clarity, it is also possible to couple two or more pipes, have. At this time, the cover flange 100 is engaged with the flange F1 of the uppermost pipe 201 (hereinafter, referred to as "pipe 201").
