Abstract

The present invention relates to a filter housing with a reinforced connection part, and more particularly, to a filter housing with a reinforced connection part, which reinforces a connection part, so that stainless steel, such as a housing made of stainless steel, is used for a gasket attached to the connection part when the filter housing is connected to other parts.

Description

Filter housing having a reinforced connecting part

The present invention relates to a filter housing having a reinforcing connection. More particularly, the present invention relates to a filter housing having a reinforcing connection in which a gasket that is tightly connected to the connection when connecting the filter housing to another component can use stainless steel of the same material as the housing. Relates to a filter housing.

Generally, a filter housing is a housing in which a filter is mounted inside the housing. The filter housing has a long tubular shape that is drilled back and forth and has a filter inside. Thus, the fluid flows through the inlet on one side and the outlet on the other side. The filter housing is of course configured such that the fluid entering the inlet is filtered and then discharged to the outlet. The filter housing must be configured with an inlet / outlet connection so that fluids do not leak because the inlet and outlet ports are formed and must be connected to the other components respectively. Such a filter housing according to the prior art is known as Korean Patent No. 0900091. The cross section of the filter housing is well illustrated in this patent. The filter housing has a long tubular shape with a filter mounted therein and an inlet and an outlet. Therefore, these inlets and outlets must be connected to other parts. Such a connection part is connected to each other by inserting a metal gasket between the two ends of the parts formed in the shape corresponding to each other shape and tighten the nut. The end of the connecting portion has a shape in which its cross section slightly protrudes outward. Therefore, as the nut is tightened, the part is dug into the face of the gasket to complete the seal.

In order to have such a connection structure, the gasket should be made of a material having a lower hardness than the connection part. If not, the part will not penetrate the gasket face, resulting in satisfactory sealing.

In the related art, when a filter housing is manufactured using stainless steel SUS316L, a nickel gasket having a harder hardness is connected therebetween. Therefore, as the nut is tightened, the protruding portion of the connecting portion digs into the nickel gasket face, thereby forming a sealing of the connecting portion.

However, when filtering a general fluid, there is no problem even if it is configured according to the conventional method, but when filtering small particles of high pressure such as helium gas, there is a problem that leakage occurs.

In addition, even when the stainless steel gasket is applied to the stainless steel housing for a more strong sealing, there is a problem that the sealing is not properly made because the hardness is slightly the same as each other.

The present invention is to solve the problems as described above, the object is to strengthen the hardness to be bonded using a gasket made of stainless steel of the same material by compressing the filter housing by pressing a force with a tool It is an object of the present invention to provide a filter housing having a reinforced connection with improved sealing performance.

As a specific means for achieving the above object, the present invention, in the filter housing that the filter is mounted therein and the ends are fastened and connected in a state in which the ends are in contact with each other on both sides of the gasket, the connection portion which is the end of the filter housing which is in contact with the gasket during fastening Is pressed and processed by pressure to form a greater hardness than other parts.

Preferably, the filter housing is made of SUS316L, and the connecting portion has a hardness of 300 Hv or more.

Preferably, the gasket is made of SUS316L.

Preferably, the tool is machined using a tool equipped with a plurality of hardness rollers on the end face so as to press the connection part of the filter housing.

Preferably, the tool is provided with a total of four rollers every 90 degrees.

Preferably, the roller is formed in a bobbin shape with its longitudinal section so that the center portion where the connecting portion of the filter housing is in contact with the inside thereof enters inwardly.

The present invention as described above has the following effects.

Since the filter housing having the reinforced connection portion according to the present invention is processed to increase the hardness of the connection portion, a gasket having a higher hardness can be used, thereby providing an effect of securing the reliability of the sealing.

5 is a plan view of the front of the tool shown in FIG.
Figure 6 is a cross-sectional view of a state in which the housing connection portion coupled to the gasket according to the prior art and the present invention.

The above objects, features and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description. Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

The filter housing 10 according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown in Figure 1 coupled to the connector 30. As shown, the connection pipe 30 and the filter housing 10 are assembled by accessing each other by assembling the nut 20. Although the structure of the connection pipe 30 and the filter housing 10 is shown to illustrate the present invention, there are many other embodiments besides such a configuration.

Referring to FIG. 2, the filter housing 10 has a screw 11 for fastening to a front portion thereof and a connecting portion 12 formed at a front end thereof. The connection part 12 is pressed and processed by pressure, and the hardness is formed larger than another part. The material of the filter housing 10 is made of SUS316L and the hardness is about 180-200Hv, but the connection part 12 is greatly improved in hardness and reaches 300Hv. The connector 30 is composed of an outer diameter enlarged portion 32 whose outer surface is enlarged in diameter so as to be caught by the body 31 and the nut 20. The outer diameter expanding portion 32 is in a state of being hung on the nut 20. A screw is formed inside the nut 20 to be engaged with the screw of the filter housing 10. When the nut 20 is tightened, the filter housing 10 gradually approaches the end of the connecting pipe 30. A gasket 40 is installed between the connection pipe 30 and the filter housing 10. The gasket 40 is SUS316L of the same material as the filter housing 10 instead of nickel. Gasket 40 is composed of a thin plate-like inner ring 42 and the outer ring 41. The connection part 33 of the connection pipe 30 and the connection part 12 of the filter housing 10 are in contact with each other to face the inner ring 42. The outer diameter enlarged portion 32 is formed on both sides of the connecting tube 30 and the body 31, and the nuts 20 are fitted in the respective bodies.

Referring to FIG. 3, the connecting pipe 30 and the filter housing 10 are tightened with the nut 20 to show a completely assembled state. Looking at the enlarged part, it can be seen that the connecting pipes 30 and the connecting portions 12 and 33 of the filter housing 10 are in contact with both inner rings 42.

4 and 5, there is shown a tool 100 for roller burnishing of the connectors 12, 33 of the connector 30 and the filter housing 10. As shown, a plurality of rollers 110 are installed on the front of the tool 100. The roller 110 is installed every 90 degrees, a total of four are installed. The roller 110 has a longitudinal cross section of the bobbin shape, and the connecting portions 12 and 33 come into contact with the center portion thereof, which is inward, and is compressed by pressure, thereby increasing the hardness. In other words, when the tool 100 is turned while applying pressure, roller burnishing is performed. As a result, the connection parts 12 and 33 increase in hardness, and durability and wear resistance also increase in comparison with other parts.

Referring to Figure 6, it can be seen that compared with the prior art. (a) is a case in which the connection parts 12 and 33 and the gasket 42 are made of SUS316L as in the prior art, and since the hardness is the same as each other, the parts pressed by the pressure are agglomerated and leak occurs. (b) shows the connection state of the connection parts 12 and 33 and the gasket 40 according to the present invention, because the hardness of the connection parts 12 and 33 is much stronger, even though the connection parts 12 and 33 are made of the same material. Is engaged while pressing the gasket 42 surface to prevent leakage.

The present invention described above is not limited to the above-described embodiment and the accompanying drawings, and various substitutions, modifications, and changes are possible within the scope without departing from the technical spirit of the present invention. It will be evident to those who have knowledge of.
