Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a single screen configuration method and an apparatus using the method, and more particularly, to an image reproduction method.
N screen means the common contents of various devices equipped with common operating system.
Means available services. For example, you can buy a particular movie, music, or game from the smartphone app store, then come home and watch the same content on your TV or PC. There should be no additional costs or technical obstacles. The target content is not limited to entertainment contents such as movies, music, and games, but it can be shared from personal information such as address book and e-mail to document work. .
N screen means literally providing content through several (N) screens (screens). For example, if an avatar movie VOD is purchased and the avatar can be viewed on various devices such as a TV, a tablet, a smartphone, a PC, and the like, it may be a kind of N screen. After the advent of the popularization of smart devices, the biggest reason for the recent rise of N-screens is the rapid spread of smart devices. Smart devices such as smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs are growing in earnest. In fact, the forecasts of major market research institutes such as Display Search and Gartner are predicting steep growth of 30 ~ 80% per year over the next three years.
The proliferation of smart devices is a significant basis for N-screens in terms of connectivity and processing performance between devices. Currently spreading smart devices are basically equipped with an operating system (Operating System), operation and voice recognition module, transmission standards, etc. can use the service linked with other smart devices.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for constructing a single screen.
Still another object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for performing the method for constructing a single screen.
The single screen configuration method according to an aspect of the present invention for achieving the above object of the present invention may include the step of dividing the received multimedia information and transmitting the divided multimedia information to the slave terminal.
As described above, the method for configuring a single screen according to an embodiment of the present invention may divide and output multimedia information based on a master terminal and a slave terminal connected to the master terminal.

In the following description of the embodiments of the present invention, a detailed description of known functions and configurations incorporated herein will be omitted when it may make the subject matter of the present disclosure rather unclear.
It is to be understood that when an element is referred to as being "connected" or "connected" to another element, it may be directly connected or connected to the other element, . In addition, the description of "including" a specific configuration in the present invention does not exclude a configuration other than the configuration, and means that additional configurations can be included in the practice of the present invention or the technical scope of the present invention.
The terms first, second, etc. may be used to describe various components, but the components should not be limited by the terms. The terms are used only for the purpose of distinguishing one component from another. For example, without departing from the scope of the present invention, the first component may be referred to as a second component, and similarly, the second component may also be referred to as a first component.
In addition, the components shown in the embodiments of the present invention are shown independently to represent different characteristic functions, which does not mean that each component is composed of separate hardware or software constituent units. That is, each constituent unit is included in each constituent unit for convenience of explanation, and at least two constituent units of the constituent units may be combined to form one constituent unit, or one constituent unit may be divided into a plurality of constituent units to perform a function. The integrated embodiments and separate embodiments of the components are also included within the scope of the present invention, unless they depart from the essence of the present invention.
In addition, some of the components are not essential components to perform essential functions in the present invention, but may be optional components only to improve performance. The present invention only improves performance
It may be implemented including only the components necessary to implement the nature of the present invention, except for the components used for, the structure including only the essential components other than the optional components used for improving the performance scope of the present invention Included in

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described for one master terminal and a slave terminal connected to the master terminal for convenience of description. However, the method and apparatus for configuring a single screen according to an embodiment of the present invention may use a plurality of master terminals as shown in FIG. 2.
3 is a conceptual diagram illustrating a single screen for dividing and outputting one image according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 3, after being stored or streamed in one terminal of the master terminal A or the slave terminals B to L, the image is divided in the master terminal A according to the location information of each terminal. The divided image may be transmitted to each slave terminal B to L. At this time, in order to match the reproduction synchronization of each divided video, the video synchronization information may be transmitted from the master terminal A to each of the slave terminals B to L, and the transmitted synchronization information may be controlled. Each terminal receiving the divided image outputs the corresponding image using the synchronization information.
The master terminal A may control fast forward, rewind, pause, play, and the like related to video playback. In addition, the master terminal A may output sound data using a speaker of the terminal. If the sound data is 2.1 channels, a total of three terminals can output 2.1 channel sound data. That is, two terminals output one channel each and the other terminal outputs the remaining one channel. If the sound data is 5.1 channels, a total of six terminals can output 5.1 channel sound data. In addition, the master terminal A may adjust the volume of the sound data. That is, the sound module existing in the master terminal A and the slave terminals B to L can be assigned to one channel to reproduce sound.
That is, the master terminal A may identify the position information of the slave terminals B to L using a communication network or GPS and adjust the positions of the master terminal A and the slave terminals B to L on a single screen. The image information transmitted to the master terminal A or the preprocessing stage existing in the previous stage of the single screen is the physical position from the master terminal A based on the position information of the master terminal A and the slave terminals B to L. The divided images may be output using the same or the like.

As described above, when the master terminal and the slave terminal are only devices classified according to roles, and functions may be performed in the same manner, the master terminal disclosed in FIG. 4 may be a slave terminal.
6 is a flowchart illustrating a multimedia playback method according to another embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 6, multimedia information is received (step S600).
Multimedia information may be provided through a communication network. The multimedia information may be transmitted to the master terminal or in some cases through a communication network of the slave terminal. The multimedia information may not be directly transmitted to the terminal but may also be transmitted through a reception device existing in the previous preprocessing stage.
The multimedia information is divided (step S610).
The multimedia information transmitted to the master terminal or the preprocessor may be divided into information for transmission to the master terminal and the slave terminal.
For example, in order to divide the screen information, network state and connection state information of the master terminal and the slave terminal may be determined first. For example, when one master terminal and three slave terminals are connected, one image may be divided into four screens. In addition, in the case of sound information, if there are three channels, the sound channel may be divided and transmitted differently based on the number of terminals currently available.
The divided multimedia information is transmitted to the slave terminal (step S620).
The master terminal can transmit the divided multimedia information to the slave terminal. The master terminal and the slave terminals connected to the master terminal may divide and reproduce one multimedia image or sound into a plurality of image and audio devices.
The divided multimedia information may be synchronized and reproduced and output according to a synchronization signal transmitted by the master terminal.
It will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes in form and details may be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims. It will be possible.
