표4에 나타난 봐와 같이 국내에서 분리된 폐렴 원인균 Pasteurall multocida는 플로르페니콜에서 9개 분리주가, 아미카닌에서 6개 분리주가 증식이 억제되는 감수성을 나타냈으며 대부분의 항생제에 대해서는 내성을 나타내었다. 편백 정유의 2-1의 최소 억제농도에서 확인된 전체 균주 13주에 대한 증식억제 능력은 항생제 감수성 비교할 때 내성 항생제의 대체제로서 선택할 수 있는 가능성을 확인 할 수 있었다.
As shown in Table 4, isolated pneumonia-causing bacteria in Korea Pasteurall multocida was susceptible to inhibition of proliferation in 9 isolates from florfenicol and 6 isolates from amicanin and resistant to most antibiotics. The antiproliferative ability of all strains identified at the minimum inhibitory concentration of 2 -1 of cypress essential oil was found to be an alternative to resistant antibiotics when compared to antibiotic susceptibility.

상기 실험예 1 및 2의 결과를 종합해 볼 때 편백 정유는 돼지에서 분리된 Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae , Pasteurall multocida에 대하여 종래 사용중인 22 종의 항생제와 비교하였을 때 감수성이 현저히 뛰어나, 종래 항생제를 대체할 수 있는 천연 항균 조성물로 사용될 수 있다고 평가되었다.
